Is he worth over 1mil a season? I'd be in favour of only signing a hooker who plays for 80min, halfback, 5/8 or fullback for that money.

Hes already on 1mil..... 1.5 is the number being suggested for the Perth offer.. I think he would be the guy to take our pack forward and captain the side, but I dunno if 1.5 would be enough either if a better name club offered him say 1.1 or 1.2 with some magic benefits on the side.. would we be any chance..

Gotta be in it to win it though.. get someone like Tino, will help us attract others also.. but the other thing is broadcast rights r coming, so that probably adds 300-400k onto his price from is it 2028 or so..

I Agree with you, but in todays world thats where its heading, and pretty soon most players are going to be on a Mil per season, it's "show me the money "

Yeah - money. It makes the world go round or is it Love? Well it is the love of money then. Whatever it is, most professional sports are driven by winning trophies and of course offering really big money to pros to play the sport and winning the massive prizes like in golf. If rugby league stays healthy and popular and all clubs are given an even chance to become top 8 contenders and there is a good balance of good players being in each club then the payment for TV rights both for free to air and subscription paid services will be increased a lot enabling the salary cap to be increased exponentially, then yes a mill + per season for many players will be on the cards.

I mean, surely paying a player a million plus a season is warranted for the hard work the players are involved in compared to the easy money made on the pro golf circuit of putting a small ball into a hole. Hahaha!

Does flanno even get that involved with recruitment now DA is in charge? Sounds like flanno would be involved maybe at the beginning and end of the recruitment process. Rather than the entire process. Buzz has been off with his rumours for a while...

I have no doubt we have the most free money of any club to go after this man (and we will), however whether we can pull him off numerous other clubs who will go after him too, probably with big TPA's on top... we shall see.. cause its Nov 1 for a 2027 signing.. everyone has time to sharpen up their offers and shed some players to make it happen...

He will test the market but I'm thinking that the Bears will have a red hot go. He would be their marquee player and make him cpt and build a team around him to entice him further.

No doubt he will leave the Titans, a player of that quality doesn't want to be stuck playing for a club like that. Whether he wants to go to the wild west is one of the issues because he has such a young family.

I know this opinion isn't popular but I hope the Dragons don't sign him. Not only do I have doubts about paying someone who doesn't play 80min that much but he also plays tough. Doesn't shirk the hard work. As a result, he's often injured.
