I believe that since joining this forum I have bored people with my continuing need for a alpha prop. Alas it appears nobody wants to sign on the dotted line. So now we are 1 prop short. 4 weeks is long enough on my way home but cheersWith Klemmer gone we now have less fire in the belly so we still need that extra grunt from what we believe we need and that is an alpha prop.
I hope your stay in Europe continues to be jolly Jo.
The way things are going JO it’s going to be left to one of our juniors or dare I say Lawrie or Guler.I heard so we have 3, one short in my opinion
Yep sorry forgot about him. Problem is his injuries and how many games he’s missed. I really don’t know if we can rely on him. Just my opinion.Hame anyone
Can’t see it happening but I hope the NRL tell him to piss off.R360 delayed until 2028 hahahhahaha
Return of Lomax? He just bought a new house in the gong
Hame anyone
I know I'm in the minority, if I'm not the only one who thinks this but I don't see why we need to bolster middle forwards at all. LPT, the big 115 kg prop, both Couchmans who will probably weigh more than 105kg next year. Sele isn't big but excellent leg speed. Like Leota from Penrith. Then we have Stewart at lock.Guler will get a lot of game time next season unfortunately
Anderson seems to think we are short a good prop. I trust he knows what he's doing. This time next year, going to have some very serious money to recruit a prop or upgrade our young props. Lawrie, Sele, Gular will surely be gone.Sele is made of paper Mache and can’t be relied upon for more than 8-10 games a season
I agree in trusting the young guys, although it would be nice to have a real star in the middle to set the tone like a Tino/Haas/Tapine
Very hard to come by/acquire so let’s hope ours kick on (I think the couchmans/Stewart will) Loko has all the tools now it’s just the grit and desire that he needs to show. 21 YO next year so very young still. Wouldn’t surprise if he’s in the 17 for a few weeks and alternates between cup and NRL this season
The decision to sign him outta Ipswich high is one of our best pathways signings i can remember.
They are the only options left im afraidThe way things are going JO it’s going to be left to one of our juniors or dare I say Lawrie or Guler.
He must of been listening to me.Anderson seems to think we are short a good prop. I trust he knows what he's doing. This time next year, going to have some very serious money to recruit a prop or upgrade our young props. Lawrie, Sele, Gular will surely be gone.
120k mate and when he bulks up prob 125k. He will be off the bench on shortish mins in first yr if our big wigs have the sense to not cook him before he grows into his body. He is too valuable a commodity, as is Jake H.LPT, the big 115 kg prop
So whats he plan on doing about it. He'd know the Rorters, specially the disgruntled ones, is there a big experienced prop among them no one else is looking at. Move it Ando, time is awasting.Anderson seems to think we are short a good prop.
I would give Lomax a miss. However, I hope DA and Coach Flano consider Ryan Papenhuyzen for a two year deal. He could play in the halves or fullback with Gutho moving into the halves.R360 delayed until 2028 hahahhahaha

I agree on principle but the problem is, we are short of good wingers but have a good fullback already. I know Gutho isn't a superstar. Not anymore or probably never was but he's still ok. As for CT/ Sloan / Feagai / Lawson on the wings, not so confident.I would give Lomax a miss. However, I hope DA and Coach Flano consider Ryan Papenhuyzen for a two year deal. If possible I'd sign Lomax for 600k a year and let him box as long as he did the boxing training in his own time and fought in the off season.I would give Lomax a miss. I agree Edward that Gutho is still a good fullback and not one of our major problems. However, apart from prop, I think halfback is our other major concern. If Papenhuyzen was to be recruited, either he or Gutho would combine with Daniel Atkinson to make a competitive halves pairing. In relation to wing, wasn't David Fale recruited for one wing position?I agree on principle but the problem is, we are short of good wingers but have a good fullback already.
