Wtf just read Flanagan is putting his son back at #7, no Reed. He has totally lost the plot over this nepotism to keep his son playing in the top grade. I figured Atkinson was doing a reasonable job as sole organizer, better in five games than K F did in a season.

Duh Chris. I'm aware of that. Was given a three yr extension, yes, to play as first fiddle not second I'd have figured. He has not been given the chance since Flanagan landed has been Cook.

Shane Flanagan may be in the crosshairs at the moment - but it's the under performing Dragons players who will be the big losers unless they turn their season around.
Wide World of Sports has learned that the St George Illawarra board has had enough - and a mass cleanout, 11 players from the top 30 is planned for next season. Included in the list are big names Damien Cook, Jaydn Su'A, Luciano Leilua, Tyrell Sloan, Blake Lawrie and Christian Tuipulotu.
We need the two in bold to stay imho. Luch and Jaydn have been solid since joining us, Luch an absolute beast this season. Sadly Blocker is a yr too late in getting serious.
But if the Dragons keep losing - the streak now extends nine games over 250 days - it's only a matter of time before the board caves to public pressure, with fans in Wollongong and St George fed up with the mediocrity at a once big club.
"Everyone talks about fixing things but they are all to scared to actually do anything about it," a source close to the board says.
"The club is being poorly run from the top and that is flowing right down through the ranks."
If true this will also spook any prospective players from coming here.

Drinkwater is another good offensive custodian but a poor defender. Only made 117 affective tackles and missed almost half that number in '25 while his record this season is not exactly earth shattering @ 70% TE. Reckon Sloan was better or at least equal to that. We want a good defensive fullback as well as a pacey attacking one, preferably with some ball skill. There must be at last one off contract first grader that covers those criteria.

WTF!! Our useless board has been asleep at the wheel losing several good players over the past three yrs. AS if losing the likes of Jack de Belin, Zac Lomax Finau Latu and Sione Finau was very hard to swallow, yet another of our best, Jadyn S'ua is about to join them with Ryles swooping.

Like I said elsewhere take the young players out of the joint then Bulldoze and flatten St George Leagues Club then do the same to Illawarra Club with everyone else in the place ......... Then start again ......... St George Illawarra is TOXIC ........
