Like it’s Groundhog Day they didn’t learn from Gutho so let’s sign a 28 year old at fullback and pay him huge dollars like WTAF

So we are hearing from journalists close to the club, they are looking at everything including board room down. This could be the usual jump on the bandwagon and kick em while they are down scenario from the Journos.
But i really think if this is why there is a delay in sacking Flanno to have a real good hard look at what we have been doing wrong for so long then so be it.
Not be closeted and half hearted from protecting your jobs, it needs an independent non club person or company to sweep through and be honest in the report, this really should have happened a long time ago, but as usual things like this dont until the .... hits the fan.

I totally agree with you regarding our board. The St George side is entrenched and has been for ages. There is also a lot of talk of nepotism regarding Shane and Kyle Flannagan and Craig and Dean Young and rightly so. There is also nepotism regarding the Illawarra board, with Bruce Gordon having his daughter on that board. Right now there here is no light at the end of the tunnel. Phil Gould says it will take us 5 to 10 years to dig ourselves out of the hole we are currently in. I think Gould thought the same thing 7 years ago and things have not improved since then.

I read somewhere else, but not from a reliable source that Easts are interested in Ivan, Nathan Cleary deal. I wouldn't be surprised if the deal is already agreed to. Politis pretty much always gets his man. There is also talk of Easts moving on Robinson.

As for what we should do, is offer Ivan what would be considered ridiculous money for a coach and offer Nathan massive money, the biggest money contract in history. Tell Ivan he gets whatever and whoever he wants, players wise, coaching staff wise and what ever else he wants. Even then, our chances of signing them would be very slim.

Shane Richardson, would fit the bill for that person to sweep through the joint and get us going in the right direction. But I can't see those in positions of power, influence and salary giving that up

The article I read was pretty much only Nathan, Ivan is staying put. Went further to say that RL might not be the only thing he considers doing. Anyway its out there so I suppose DA would be making some decisions on what to do.

Put our faith in Reed. Forget Cleary who'd need record money to leave Penrith.
