This bullshit I keep hearing that the club does not want a certain player to leave, yet they always do. This board is more our enemy than our ally and should never be permitted to run this club any further. Unless Loko is seen as an injury liability, then letting another club benefit from his talent is a bloody travesty.

Do they think that if we have a brilliant game against the Roosters (ie., that we beat them) that the tide would turn and then they can put everything to rest and keep Flanno until the end of 2028. I'm still laughing. It will be our worst defeat so far this year.

Well what do you reckon they are mate? Losing Latu was no big deal as I reckoned he was lazy, but Loko is a powerhouse runner with ball skills and never takes a backward step. We badly need his 120kg size in the engine room going forward. Like I said earlier if we have let another of our most promising players leave for anything other than his injury concerns, then that is a bloody travesty and has just about floored me to the extent that I am ready to dump this club until there are major improvements made from the top down!!!

It is now so depressing to say the least. No-one knows what is going on behind those doors. We don't know where anything stands, It is all a guessing game. How is it that this once great name - Dragons - is now abyssal (absolutely wretched). Those wretched years of the past 14 years have culminated in the ultimate shit stage of this poorly run Club. The whole of the league world is now seeing what a disaster of a place it is, the whole world. Would be coaches, trainers, players and their managers, executive people, EVERY DAMNED BODY will know not to bother being part of this unprofessional Club. How utterly embarrassing we have become.

That is exactly what I think FF and WT would know how players should play in this current day and age and I reckon we would have plenty of success going forward with his ability to get all these young ones firing. I will absolutely throw in the towel if Dean Young got the Head Coaching gig at the Dragons . By crikey, that will be the end of my days following league I tell you.

This have anything to do with Loko being left out of Vegas? Did the big fellar feel sleited, dont blame him.
Latest is he says he "does not feel he is being developed". That is the coaching staffs job. So nothing to do with injury. The board has now had a change of mind and told Loko's manager he wont be released. Jeez this will only make the giant man wanna leave us more unless Flanagan is removed. Effing club.

Time to up the campaign next year Jo Eric you and I run, we have a massive campaign and another miracle we all get in.
Time to vote, we all vote for Jo he gets in and the rest vote for Doust

And the sad thing about this all Mug Fan Mug Fan is that it is actually set up that way. My close friend from back in my day so talking about 30 odd years ago was in the Dragons admin section.

He told me how the board worked until we merged, then the rules were amended to ensure board members couldn't be touched. They could be removed from holding a certain position but remained on the board.

An ideal example of this was the ' Oust Doust' campaign some 10 years ago now. Yes it sussesfully removed Doust as the CEO but he retained his position on the board. Which escaped the general knowledge of supporters. To the best of my knowledge he is still on the board.

I was hoping the introduction of ex players such as Creagh and now Coyne would add balance to the board which was heavily a business minded model with little thought to the actual league side.

The bank balance should be in an excellent position as a result but our ability to be competitive on the field has suffered.

Unfortunately it appears little or anything has changed.

Hence our inability since 2010 to have a competitive top 8 team on a regular basis.

Just my views.

Precisely David. Why would any of them wanna come here. We have been forced by incompetency at the management level to survive by not having winning coaches and having poor rosters with only a few reasonable imports to prop up us. Luckily we have nurtured some exceptional youngsters such as Loko Tonga, so we can ill afford to disillusion him and others with similar hi promise that may want to become future Dragons...

Drinkwater is in career best form at the moment I know but once again paying top dollar for someone who will soon be on the wrong side of 30 for a three year period is risky. I know desperate times and all that but this could be an issue come year 3. Refer to Gutho as an example. Hope I am wrong.
