We have a lot of serious talent coming through but I have to say, do you really think on almost every other clubs forum they aren't waxing lyrical about their emerging talent?

I dont think it was clear from the graphic that it was an U21 contract.. perhaps that he will play some U21's.. but id say more realistically he would be wanting to come here for NSW Cup.. he should have played some last year but obviously out of favour with knights coaches. The kid was on a train and trial..
I'm backing Atkinson.. no other choice, if he doesnt come good we r f***ed! He might make errors but I reckon hes a good egg.. kicking boot will atleast be bigger than Kyles, hope he can keep his cool, maybe the risk that playing 7 makes it hard for him to focus on his own game.. and maybe he would be better at 2nd receiver than Kyle.. maybe Kyle and he will swap around..

Gutho only has a year or 2 years to go and is running on old legs so to speak. We don't have any marquee halves or fullback for 27 and beyond. Those are probably the most important positions on the field, along with props. We do look to have quality props for 27 and beyond. Until we have marquee or at least very high quality halves and fullback, we are going to struggle to make the top 8. We have to aim for the "stars" in the halves and fullback.
Over the last several months the club has been having victory after victory off the field.

Fifita had a personal relationship with Bennett and do you think Flanno's record stacks up pretty well against Bennetts? So much so it allows Flanno the leeway to make recruitment and retention decisions on his own the way Bennett can?
I’m sure Flanno and DA collaborate in terms of recruitment but you’re right. DA would’ve just got Iongi instead.
It will be very deflating and disappointing but I see all the right signals and signs. You can't fix 15 years of neglect and poor decision making in a hurry. Im genuinely excited for 27 but we still need a younger spine in my view

I think if Flanno coached Brisbane from 1988 to 2008 with the teams Bennett had at his disposal, he would have won as many comps as Bennett did. Bennett hasn't won a comp since 2010. Flanno last won a comp in 2016. Flanno also took Cronulla from a team missing the semi's to a team that made the semis regularly.
