Just so glad we pinched that.. the Ponga send-off I don't think was the right call in origin (I hated the Sua'ali decision on Walsh years back also).
I didn't think we could overcome that lead either, so the send off meant 2 weeks of qld sooking and ref square ups in Game 2.. and we lost anyway.. but now its fine.. we can listen to them and we have 2 games to not mess it up.. another positive is hopefully Laurie saw his sh1t selections and makes sure he gets Strange and Maclean etc into the starting 13.

Koula is a centre or a fullback not a winger - McClean turned the game on its head when he came on ... that is an easy change to make albeit brutal on Koula

If hes back from the HIA I'm playing both of them.. this game is all speed now.. these 2 r young fast and the future...
I thought for sure Chrichton would find form and take it back to the dogs.. but he certainly didn't which was a great positive.. cant believe how slow he looks.. which is more an indication of how fast the game has become now..
Not a fan of Olakauto either, was hoping this game would change my mind but I think hes too big and slow imo.. bit like Suli.. spectacular but I think we can pick faster more agile back rowers. Dunno how much Laurie will change though, probably more rotate the guys he has into a better 13 and a better bench hopefully.

Imo Ponga deserved to be sent. No attempt to wrap at all and ended up making direct contact to the head.

Strange is a beast, our young fellas played soo well. Underrated but I thought Brailey was great, he should start moving forward. Robson is solid but doesn't provide much in attack, his service & decision making is iffy. Imo a few changes would unlock our side but Daley is inept.

Same here, I tune in as the majority of our World Cup squad will come from this SOO three gamer. Our perpeptually exceptional 'Roos team plus international footy has always taken precedence for me.

Another guy that has turned his back on his place of birth. No time for these people..traitors, turncoats. Aussie footy made them. It was his armless tackle on Koula resulting in the wings HIA that rubbed Ponga out and drove a Blues comeback. Just deserts pal.

Was much worse than what Suali did to get sent off a couple of years ago.
I meant how is he there due to form and ability.
Robson, Barrett and AFB need to go, IMO. I know they won't. AFB has been one of the best props for a while and Warriors are second on the table in regard to Barnett. But in the new, too fast, version of the game, both Couchmans are much better. Unfortunately players from a team which hasn't won a game in almost a year are up against getting picked for Origin. Specially from a winning team.

With the new rules so dudes like Ponga and McLean can play Origin and for NZ, the international game is set to become more competitive.
Was a pretty good game. QLD probably would have pulled away and won very easily if not for the send off.
Lock is a bit of a problem. Both Yeo and Murray are very good locks who play a lot of minutes but only good as locks.
The number of hits ups Barnett took in the last 15 min was doing my head in and every one of them ineffective for a team desperately chasing points.
Radley has no business playing at this level.
McLean is way better than Staggs and if Latrell is fit, maybe both centres should be replaced.
If it wasn't for that last try, they would still be raving about Tedesco. Raving about how he must be replaced.
Robson's attacking game seems to have gone to crap. He's only a tackling machine now.

One more good thing to come from this, we can be speared the insufferable raving about Queensland spirit for the next couple of weeks at least. Had they won, it would have gone into hyper-drive.

Neither have QLD, and they have a team that's full of Origin players.
