Another useless stat made 18.13 tackles per game missed 1.38 very acceptable level especially for a halve.

Compare that to Mam misses 4.8 tackles per game, Sandon Smith and Cameron Munster both 4 misses a game. Bloody he'll all of us sudden he isnt that bad.

Flanagan downfall is his inability to create with ball in hand and of course being a halves
everyone concentrate entirely on that fact.

I'd still have him in the side as a 14 and when Liddle is back still have him as a 14 and put Cookie into the centers.

LKT is not 1sts standards, just my view and if I was still coaching he wouldn't even come into the conversation if my 1sts coach asked me for my opinion. But im old

Like thought 1 and thought 2 but you pushed your luck with the Cook suggestion. There is no way after watching last week's ressies game you rate Cook above Buchanan, in fact I would give Halangahu a run in centres before Cook. Just my views

We need our halves to be reading the play better. Often they unload too early, instead of bringing the opposition to them and then unload...I get that the team is despondent at the moment but they still need to be focusing on basic footy. Attack, attack, defend, defend.
Some our main experienced guys dont even get the footy, they need to be showing more initiative and calling out for the ball. None of this random rainbow passes that havent been thought through either. Just keep sharing the ball, off load where you can without giving it away and move around like a pack of wolves so that the opposition dosent know what our next move will be.

You would have to think our defence is the most crucial part of our game at the moment and having Kyle back is a bonus ( yes i did say that) he cleans up out wide pretty well.

If we pick our best defenders out wide (are there any) we could frustrate Penrith, we've done this before and you never know the attack through a bit of confidence could find a try or 2

We have been void of any ideas so far in attack or in the backs. Can Suli Kyle Hayden CT Cookie ???? Nick T back from injury? Lessen the points so easily scored against us?
