How good is this ........

What is it?

This shows the way we were in it until late against the Panthers and Warriors wasn't a fluke or just them playing badly. If our 1~7 was only 10% better, we probably win those games.

Good to see Val finally bounce back and Suli had his best game ever I can remember.

Great win & I can’t improve on the comments re players except making mention of Sloans tackle on Staggs which halted their momentum. What did impress me was their attitude after the interception. Never dropped their head’s & continued to play positive football.
That intercept …
Does Drinky throw that pass or roll the kick?

Hamish just does those extra things most forwards dont, with his tall frame he always finds ways to help the attack with great mobility and hands.......a great leader at this age. Super impressed by our young forwards.
He will play Origin
He would have probably scored the first try if he hadn't slipped but quick thinking he looked up saw Holmes inside him and put him over for the high flying try.

I must say Holmes body language yesterday was a far cry on what it has been for most of the season, he played as if he owed not only the fans, his team mates but himself to finally put in and he did that which certainly played its part in our win.

My wife and I thought he was never going to make that tackle but when he did we both thought we would hold on for the win and we did

Wrong pass selection if he throws the harbour bridge type pass Holmes would have scored that was a 12 point turnaround. Cant remember Gutho having a short kicking game. Whereas Drinkwater certainly has.

I remember thinking that they were playing like a team who has heard who is coaching them next year… and they can’t wait!

Tim Watsford indicated he was. Perhaps a niggle ruled him out today as I cant believe Dean Young'd play Guler and Kerr ahead of him. He is averaging DOUBLE what the current edgies are.
You doom merchants. I had it correct, Luch had a heavily strapped leg so Deano was being cautious given we had the game in the bag. Eric Eric hes been better than just being in the top 17, been among our top three players all season. Has earned an extension.

First ten mins showed me there was a turn around on the cards with firstly Val pulling off a vital tackle on his side then Suli saving a certain one on his side. Before yesterday that pair had been defensively vulnerable.

So not Deano? They said they were going to begin the process of interviewing candidates from today.
Then very unlikely of a new coaching appointment before the match if conducting interviews. So blows that theory out of the water. Also Youngs mood at the presser did not indicate he was only the coach for the remainder of this season, by banging on about the team moving forward. He was specially pleased that his game plans from training had finally been followed.
