You think we are traveling bad? I present to you: North QLD! 4 Origin reps, two in spine positions, and a fullback who is probably their best player. Yet, they sit below us on the table.

Both out of final contention. Selection will be interesting. I would say time to bring back LPT but in the last game, Lawrie, Gular and Klemmer were among our best. Sloan won't be dropped due to Finau's injury but how difficult would it be for the rest of the team to have no confidence at all in Sloan's defensive ability?

Even though centre isn't his best position, Nick Tsougranis has to replace Allan.

These are the games we generally lose, I dont know how much more ticker is left in these guys after all the close losses. It's an early Friday night game, not much interest to anyone really and its up there. Finals is a pipe dream for either side, sad really but what more can you say about a very disappointing season for either side and especially us.

Can't say much more this late in the season Justa. The players have definitely tried their hearts out in most games this year and we just needed a couple of game managers in those close games that they could have made the results go our way. This is where we are lacking besides someone with a better kicking game as well as a couple of big men up front to dominate the charges ahead and the defence.

If we can end up in 10th place this year, it will be a slight improvement on last year's ladder finish of 11th which we currently are, but the Tigers are on equal point but with a bye up their sleeves which if given now they would be 11th and us 12th.

So a win on Friday night will help us stay in reach of that 10th spot. Obviously we win 3-4 more games then the picture will be much better. Fingers crossed for that.

On paper they are a far better team than us.

Another train wreck season. Shane Flanagan is now in my eyes our worst coach since Price. I have tried to respect him even like him but his inability to lure any marquees here over two yrs and his insistence on playing has beens and frankly guys with no quality to wear the iconic Red V, has done me. Take out Sloan and surely that back four are the slowest, least agile in the comp and with Sloan, the worst defenders. With these injuries it is like Flanagan has arranged the cards to precisely stack as he wanted, 'his boys' to play out '25. Our season is gone, so if we had a visionary coach I'd take a gamble on promoting some of our most promising outside backs and play maker. But he has no vision like other coaches, who do gamble on their juniors.

RVH, we as fans of the Dragons have suffered and endured so many years of let downs and if we put all of the forum comments together on this particular subject they would stretch from coast to coast from east to west. Except for say 2015 and 2018 when we made the finals, the writings have been on the walls far too often. It is so frustrating and downright depressing to more or less lose interest in the game as a result. What do we have to look forward to for this year - maybe a win, maybe two wins just not good enough. Play more juniors who qualify to play in first grade - those that show tons of ability and possess strength and power, speed and endurance and have a footy brain - do we have anybody?

This year while we have lost many, there have been games that many have said that we should have won but didn't. Should haves mean little and there is no use even talking about them. A win is a win and a loss is a loss and you cannot overturn the results. If my mother had a dick she would be my father?? If that kick stopped in front of him, he would have scored a try - hahaha. If, if , if.

Boy oh boy, next year better be better. Another year like this one and previous ones would you be bothered to ever watch this team again?
