What year was it that we lost every game in the last 6-7 games - only a few years ago? Looks likely we end up doing the same this year. Running out of troops doesn't help.
Was this game winnable? Answer, yes. Why didn't we though? Answer, the same reason we lost all of the other close games - lack of control and execution not being able to close out the games and bloody terrible defence.

They should book him in for an appointment at Centrelink next week..

Because of Craig you mean? In my personal view since 2018 we appointed people into positions of head coach without due diligence and we are still paying the price of those years 2018 - 2023 . Young is highly regarded believe it or not in the coaching circles but not for his on field results. I'm sure he had a short stint as head coach in 2020?

One of our halves can't tackle and the other has nothing,in attack except screwing up the rest of the teams atrack.
Dearden is a gun and LKT could've used more help. Cook was equally to blame for a couple of those misses. No excuses at all for the other half.

Games are won on great defence. Someday, someway we have got to improve at least 80%. We fix it for every game and wella win, win, win.

Other than no more rejects make it a priority that our recruits have a record that shows they can also bloody well tackle. No less than say, 90% affective.

That’s 5 games we’ve scored 24+ this year and lost
Just awful defence and line speed week after week and nothing changes
Poor LKT had probably his worst defensive display in his career (some of the misses were actually Cook/Feagai rushing up past the ball player which makes his job much harder)
Liddle/Stewart/Feagai can all hold their heads up high, the rest were incredibly average or poor
That was one of the more winnable games as well…. Onto the next

How can we make this teams attack more creative? It'd help if we didn't have the safe as houses from getting dropped but by far the worst halfback.

Still say now is the time to blood some more young guys given our season is over and see who most impresses. Far more point now than once the season has started. This is a usual procedure in cricket and it works. Jake H was massive in Ressies last week. Make a great combo with big Loko. A handful of games, call them a trial, as Willie will want to keep him and any others for the upcoming finals.

I say keep our juniors for KOE and hope they can at least do something for the club, I wouldnt want them tainted with the stench our NRL side is, let alone introducing them into a losing culture.
