My personal opinion is LKTs getting a bit too much blame. He was in the line and Dearden wasn't running through his attempted tackles but around on him on both sides. That's not to say LKTs defence was ok. Just that the players who were on either side of him share the blame. Just my view.

Correct Eric, players running up past the ball and for a player like Dearden he eats that shit up

LKT certainly not a great defender but your right his outside men left him for dead

It seems everyone has one certain player in the team they just can't stomach. Mine was Eisenhuth and I'll tell you what, considering on how much he is on, Leilua isn't far behind. Every second fan can't stand Kyle Flanno. JDB copped a fair bit of hate on another forum when I posted there. LKT is yours.

Gutho is okay once he get up to speed—-but pace off the mark ? It is like watching in super slow motion !

At least if we lose this week we can all cancel our kayo subscriptions !

Not me, I like to watch other sport on Kayo. I'm not just a league follower. I'm looking forward to a better year with the Dragons in 2026 so that's another reason why I'll continue with the Kayo subscriptions.

I definitely think its been a missed trick not playing Nick these past months, and 2 x 18th man is craziness.. its like his way of saying that he rly wants to give them the opportunity (that he said he would) but doesnt quite believe it will maximise the chance of winning..

We have to be really careful imo if we want to recruit younger talent, we will get a reputation.. im really keen to see Daniel Anderson on the dragons podcast next week.. Haran was on today and basically made it pretty clear that Daniel is very much in charge now.. bit more than a recruitment guy by the sounds of it.

was listening to that podcast with Haran on the M5 transit to work and nearly had to pull over out of frustration

Let’s be honest, it’s actually insane he’s still got a job as General Manager especially with our results post 2018

The worst part is there is no sign of him getting the arse from the joint, he’s like a cockroach honestly he just won’t go away

Well I usually keep kayo for the baseball playoffs. Especially this year as I am a cubs fan and they are in the mix for the post season.

However, I am going overseas and no one can acseaa kayo outside Australia, even with a VPN

He comes across to me as someone who would make an ok assistant to a GM.. grab the coffees.. get the car washed.. put away the training gear.. sort of says the right things (cliches) to questions.. but you can see there is nothing deeper there.

The bit that I thought caught him out was when he mentioned a few times that he and Flanno had been patiently waiting 18mths for "the right man" for Recruitment Manager.. but then he later made clear that it wasnt until Tim showed up that anything moved... i.e. Tim made that happen.

It was a perfect example of what's gone wrong with our staff.. doing the bare minimum... waiting for things to fall into our laps... completely out of their depth.. trying to out-manage 16 other clubs full of smart businessmen and footyheads... in the more elite of the elite comps in the world.. what chance could we possibly have...

From here its the Tim&Daniel show, Daniel in particular has a strong NRL+Coaching pedigree and has been doing it at the roosters.. whether he can deliver at a struggling club I dont know.. whether Tim means well but is also inexperienced with some of the decisions hes made recently (such as no more kogarah/WIN for dogs games).. time will tell.. but atleast we have a strategy now.. whether its one that works we wont know for a while.

That’s well put, he and Flanno were in charge of recruitment for the past 18 months and I’d say the recruitment/retention has been poor in that time

As a GM, it’s his job to make the whole operation runs smooth and makes the head coaches job much easier and yet he has done nothing to prove he’s capable at doing a decent job in 12 years in the role

Everything we say is just speculation now regarding Anderson and Watsford, I want to see change and structures off field put in place that make us setup long term

Haran strikes me as a guy that just coasts by because he never has immense pressure put on him, it’s always on the coach or board and he’s left out of the firing line for the most part

It was funny how quickly he would shift blame or attention when quizzed about roles and who does what. He never took responsibility it was always ‘oh that’s Daniel Anderson’s role and he’ll make us better with his experience at a club like the roosters’

I’ll say it again, Haran is stealing a living
