He's good enough now but Flanno has to be dragged, kicking and screaming before he picks anyone like Egan before Eisenhuth, RFM, BMM. That was also the case for the Couchmans.

Ok last throw at the dice , honestly we should get up for this we have more to play for and who thinks we got this , not me ...... I can't see us winning this , or maybe should be saying gut feeling we get done ........ Seen it so many times before ........ Hope I'm wrong then the trend will be broken LWW to end the season or the trend goes the other way LL? .........

I'm going to back them in to win. The current crop weren't around or have gotten over the mental scars or the years when we were close to making the finals.

The biggest concern for me is how slow (as in running) the team is. It's not Flanno's fault. God knows what Griffin was thinking in putting together such a backline.

How has our record against the Eels been past two seasons. Can find only one match from '23, they won a close one 26-20. Cant see us winning with Mitch Moses calling the shots for them. If only we'd have had him past seven yrs instead of you know who.

Jack de Belin and Luciano Leilua have been named to start with Blake Lawrie and Ryan Couchman on the interchange.
That is sensible. Jack seems to bring up the big numbers when he starts and plays a full half then comes back fresh in the final 20.

If de Belin plays more minutes coming off the bench, I think that's best. Leilua should start.

How crucial for us was the 2 wins against Storm and an understrength Panthers side ........ We gained 4 points there where most teams would have dropped points ........ That is why we are still in the running , if they were loses we would have been gone long ago ....... Really need to get up For Eels game ........

I like that. Feagai's have to be held accountable for their lack of effort in defense. I can cop missed tackles but not like that. Hopefully this will be the kick up the pants they needed.

I think Zac will have a point to prove to Parra and Flanno. That is, he's a natural centre, not winger even though you could put him at prop or winger and he'd still go ok.
