Yes unfortunately over nearly the last decade this is what the club has been reduced to, culminating in achieving the wooden spoon this year. It has been so bad that my view is there's still no guarantee next year that it may be any better. Yes we have had top self recruiting but until we actually achieve something, then we are still nothing. Weather DY can get us there still remains to be seen. So depressing yes, but as a Dragons supporter its also reality.

It's true but one club always has to get the spoon. It's not the end of the world. I think the recruitment for next year as been AAA.

I would just echo two comments I read here which I agreed with. Can't remember who made them but one was saying:

• DA is the clubs most important signing since Wayne Bennett.
• This train-wreck of a season or more broadly, the train-wreck that was Flanno's tenure was what might have been needed for the front office to make serious changes that were needed.

Though TBH I'm still negative on signing Deano to be head coach. Wouldn't surprise me if DA is responsible for re-signing those 4 forwards. But I certainly hope Deano proves me wrong.
