I would like to see the Gutho to 5/8 .....Sloane to fullback, he has improved somewhat, he's the only one with speed. Kyle out, it's worth a try.
League scene reporting Suli will miss the game with the birth of his child
-Feagai not in the squad named so assuming Buchanan comes in at left centre
Hopefully he brains it, think he’s got a real chance to get a starting spot this year if he takes to first grade well
Next 3 games against ‘poor’ opposition there couldn’t be a better time to grab his opportunity
So Kyle still in...... this club is a joke.Correct, the other change I expect will be Ty 4 Tu
I know it's a joke, but what do you mean by it?i mean obviously it is the centre and wingers fault that the ball didnt get to the centres/wingers in good enough position![]()
Yes. Halves were very poor especially in Parra's 20 when Parra were down to 12.stuff already said ... the game management and cohesion of the spine along side the coaches use of players. The outside men failing to get decent ball in attacking positions (esp our left) in the game vs the eels. Was leaning into that ...
Still hate that Stewart was shifted to left edge when Luc went off - killed our link play in the last 20.
Surely they won't want to disrupt the right edge as well as the left?Mug Fan thanks for the heads up ...
Do you think/know if Buchanan plays left or right?
Sele played the link role reasonably in the game vs Storm esp in first half … him not playing took that option off the table … at least this week we have the extra edge forward in hakangahuYes. Halves were very poor especially in Parra's 20 when Parra were down to 12.
I agree with you that Stewart is better used in the middle. But Flanno has moved him to left edge in every game this year. However, those shitty sets against 12 men are down to poor decision making and poor communication from the halves. Any of our middles can function as a link in those situations. In any case, Stewart can't play 80 in the middle so someone else is always going to play lock for part of the game.
From memory, Sele threw a pass to ground, causing loss of possesion and eventual 2 points in the first 5 minutes of the Storm game. Still he and the others can do the job. We actually had some decent moments linking through the middles in the Parra game, but the backs dropped the ball.Sele played the link role reasonably in the game vs Storm esp in first half … him not playing took that option off the table … at least this week we have the extra edge forward in hakangahu

Yes, if Halangahu plays, then, barring injury, Stewart won't go to the edge. In that case, we only have 2 middles on the bench (with 2 subs taken by Liddle and Halangahu). This probably means either one of the middles plays straight through the first 50 (probably Stewart) or Liddle comes on in first half and Cook moves to 13.
Methinks likewise puff.Luch can't play middle. Not fit enough.
Well, Luch has the best skills in the team! Halangahu more of a runner. We need a ball player on the edge while Kyle is in the team since he sucks at it.

He could play there, but we'd be cut to shreds.Well if he is fit enough for 5 minutes it’s not a fitness thing but a rotation timing … easily fit enough for the Kerr role
