I'm so f*king sick of Flanno's sh1t. I never lost patience with a coach this fast before. Not even Price or Griffin. It was about after a season and a bit I started having serious doubts about Price.

As for this game, I think they are just about ready to put the DCE debacle behind them. It will be a hard game. I don't know what Feagai has done at training but it's now or never to justify the coaching staff confidence in him.

Lawrie will have to run at least 150m to keep his place with Gular back next week. Flanno might want to give Stewart a rest shortly but Latu might be next in line rather than recall for Lawrie.

The way Flanno has spoken after the titans game, he said something along the lines of the young boys like Stewart and Egan will need a rest at some point and there’s 3 or 4 young guys knocking down the door to play as well

so I think it’s about finding the right balance and opportunity before Finau Latu gets a chance.
Remember Guler is back after the manly game iirc so that’s another midfle spot taken. I like the way Flanno’s handled the young fellas so far, he knows rushing kids ain’t good for anybody

That's what I had in mind regarding Latu, not Lawrie taking over if/when Stewart gets a rest.

Guler avg 50mins and hasn't run over 100m. Best was 78m. He'll need to lift big time. Had a few errors and penalties too. Best 2 out guler, klemmer, lawrie should get picked every week.

I think we will just get through tomorrow and see if any injuries or suspensions come out of it.. who performs.. then a decent 8-day turn around before Anzac day to think about who's getting rested in terms of those forwards.. sadly the roosters are looking much better lately, would have been nice if the game had been played in round 1 or 2!

I think you’re probably right, just seen manly’s 24 hr update.
Aloiai out and Fualalo (outside back) moved to the bench.

That means they’ve got 2 middles a hooker and a back on the bench. Their forward pack outside of olokoatu and Bullemoor I don’t rate at all.

Any injury to their forward pack in game and their in some trouble

I kept hoping for it.. but yeah dunno if the subterfuge was necessary over a winger...Egan did however get moved into the starting side I just saw, I thought Flanno was trying to hide him cause he is facing Olokoatu.. but hes there now.

Also I just checked, it was actually Feagai that was 18th man last week, and he didnt back up for cup which could only be because he was playing this game surely.... hopefully Sione and LKT back up for cup if they dont play, its in Auckland, but its not till saturday arvo.

Sorry to say but I'm tipping Manly to win. Our team and squad is on the way up but not there yet. If we can make the finals this year, next year might be big. To do that, need to win games like this when they are a squad already at the top of their game. I wonder whether the ones that got away, Souths and Parramatta, comes back to haunt us.

The manly bench is tiny. If we can have above 50% of possession and roll the middle it would go a long way to getting the win. That being said I’ve heard Faulalo could replace Saab late and Navale comes onto bench which would add size.
