In rounds where the Dragons aren't playing, we'll make it so you have to tip for and against for the first or last game of the round. Not just any game. I think that was the only problem this year. If one were to pick X to win by 2 but lose by 2 but then someone else picks Y to win by 20 but in fact only win by 2, if it were come down to for and against, the person who picked wrong would win which doesn't seem fair.

Well done to Justa. He was steady all the way through. I had my chances but just couldn't get the right picks in the last 3-4 rounds. Good work Joe for winning the last Round- you came home with the mail sail bursting along. RedV01 didn't do too badly on the home stretch as well. Bad luck to Ryan who sprinted from the start but floundered along the long stretch home.

Good fun overall for those who participated and thanks again to Morgan for his tireless weekly schedule of posting the games and then working out who won and the points to allocate.

Well guys what can I say. Thank Christ for points in the bank those last few rounds were terrible. A few lessons learnt there. To all who participated job well done to Morgs, you rode me like Zorro but I’m a “J” To the old fox who tried so hard to get into my head well done mate you had a reall good go and you were unlucky. Now then I will be handing the baton back to Jo, 2 years running mate so it’s now your turn. Always remember banter is good.

Thanks to everyone who thanked me but there is no need. I liked doing it.

So after the GF, I'm going to start sending email asking for sponsorship of the tipping comp. The idea is:

• The sponsor would have the naming rights to the thread. So it would be "The *************** Tipping Competition".
• Also have an ad of their choice at the top of the thread or at the end of each round when Morgan tallies the score.
• No possibility of plastering advertising all over the place for $150.
• $150 total is prizes. $75 voucher for first, 50 for second, 25 for third. Does it seem too cheap? Or $150 winner takes all?
• At first I'm going to mail independent restaurants/eateries because it seems really easy.
• If none are interested, sporting goods/clothing shops.
• Not going to contact chains at first like McDonalds because I imagine they would get lawyers involved and contracts signed and etc.

So that's that. I'm really bad at marketing/sales so I'm just going to get right to the point in my email. We are hardly talking about enough money to break the bank here. I just want to give them a take it or leave it opportunity.
