I know some people don't like it but I can barely contain myself anymore.
Latest words of wisdom from Flanno;
This is the same as when I first realised Flanno was all about protecting Kyle. A successful team is a secondary consideration. In the Origin period last year, pre game the reporter asked Flanno if Kyle is taking on more responsibility without Hunt. Flanno immediately passed the buck to Jesse Marshke.
Flanno is a good coach. No doubt at all but I think his fanatical determiantion to protect Kyles place in the team is going to cost him his job and credibility and set the team back by 2~3 years at least.
Once again, I'm sorry to those who might not like it but I can't contain myself anymore. This is incredible! Not on Flanno's part. I understand he thinks Kyle is a superstar and the least of the teams problems. It's incredible Deano or someone from above hasn't intervened. If Carr tried to to intervene he'd be out of a job inside the hour but Deano has connections and credibility within the club and the wider competition.
Latest words of wisdom from Flanno;
What? How many games you win is an inverse relationship to how many games you lose. What is Flanno talking about?“I’m not worried about how many games we lose, I’m worried about how many games we win,” Flanagan said.
i.e. no changes to the spine unless there is an injury.“They were my best spine yesterday, they were my best spine today and they’ll be my best spine tomorrow so we keep moving on.
They were trials Flanno. No one really cares about them. Except for you and except for if Kyle is playing.“They showed what they can do in the trials and they showed me what they can do in the off-season so I’ve got all faith in those boys to get the job done.
And once again, Flanno immediately passing the buck. How can he mention Gutho and it "not coming together" and "have got to deliver"? Gutho has been a very rare bright spot. Doing it all. Organizing from the back, making metres running, playmaking setting up tries. He has to do that because he plays the role of fullback and 5/8 in this team.“We’re looking at some really experienced players and some Origin players in Gutho and Cooky. It hasn’t come together for us just yet, but not just those players have got to deliver.”
