Behind by 2. A couple of poor missed tackles. Did Latu go off? Didn't see it but he was everywhere then suddenly he was nowhere. That seemed to be the point where things went downhill. Lots a chances to kick clear but looked a bit too impatient. LKT has been OK but far from dominating. Though he looks like a natural 5/8.

Ramsey and both wingers, Finau and Buchanan taking strong carries, getting a lot of PCMs. Nothing against CT and Sloan but I think if they were swapped with Buchanan and Finau, NRL would only be better for it.

Lawrie and RFM also good.

NSW Cup Comments (First Half):
  • Pretty energetic first half, the young forwards are hungry, I think Lawrie is cooked though, hes just an average reserve grader out there without impact.
  • Lawson has been the main man in attack, scoring 1 and putting on 2 for Finau.. hes very classy, very strong.. however I think it was his mis-read that let in a try later in the half.
  • Halangahu has 2 drops which is not good, hes getting the ball right before colission and its too much for him, maybe the pass shouldnt be thrown too..
  • Goal kicking is as always our nemesis.. but atleast Glover landed 1 from the sideline, tbf all 3 on the sideline.
omg I just remembered this is on fox, im watching it on bartv..

The wet weather usually shows the skillset of individual players and brings teams closer together. Completion rates will be very important and cut out the stupid errors. We are playing the team that is running last

Im not on the Buchanan bandwagon, talented kid but centres these days are skillful and physical monsters.. so Buchanan gonna have to be incredible to succeed as a small ctr imo, maybe in 1-2yrs we see where he gets too... is has been bought through very young also.

Seriously not moving up in defence on your line and it's a carbon copy of our 1sts online defence thats just piss poor that try and comes after spilling the ball. No control no urgency against the Bears, this team has not clocked on

He got manhandled by Rob Toia in the trial who’s probably a below average centre in the NRL albeit he’s young + talented as well.

The physicality is the issue for him. He’s fast but not strong. Only young and can definitely improve so we’ll wait and see

Its always the errors.. 2 drops from Halangahu, 1 from Lawrie, 2 from Lawson come to mind.. all their early points came off those..

Not to mention has Glover ever kicked well in a game? His release is soooo slow and the goalkicking is terrible. LKT been quite disappointing as well
