was wondering what had happened to Gudgeon, didnt last long.. but I think its a good thing really, we have been playing NickT instead of him in the nsw cup centres, and Heidke will surely be there soon... that said we are playing a 2nd rower in the centres.. which does give him gametime but Nick cant turn around if they kick behind him.

Hardly a former, he never played an official game for us.
The Mole is a fuckwit.

  • No. 3 is a curious selection in the centres. I'd have thought a Jersey Flegg outside back would be called up.
  • No. 2 is officially dropped, not injured as I first thought.
  • Blake Lawrie and LPT will come back and be props.
  • No. 16 finally back. Or will he pull out before kick off? Still no sign of Eisenhuth and Sele. Be nice if No. 16 had a big game and got picked up by an ESL club. I think he's behind not only LPT but also Liu as far as NRL team goes.
  • Stanley-Traill and Treweek still on the injured list. Hope it isn't anything serious.
  • I know Kirk did an ACL but what is going on with the winger Williams?
  • Not much to report otherwise as far as I can see. They got a win last week. With the number of players they have in NRL, NSW Cup and injured, any win at this point is a good win.

Fafita has been average for a while, a couple of good runs and runs out of motor,,,

You would have to think Fitzy's boy would be on his way soon ?
He gets a lot of attention due to his dad but I've been reliably informed, it's mostly because of his dad. He's behind a few 5/8s at the club only a bit older or the same age. Haven't seen enough of him to have an opinion myself. But I know LKT is far ahead of him and then there is Ah Kee and Shadi Hammoud. Then there is Atkinson next year. He's a big 5/8, won't beat many players with speed and footwork but will run over the top of a few. The son of the Rorters great (I don't care where he got his start.) and Shonkies head coach might be well advised to see if he can get a contract with either of them.

Yeah I'm glad that Reed will be our main focus.

big day for lower grades takes some of the pain out of yesterday... Flegg is benefiting by finally having someone like Reed to lead them around, thats really the only difference, we dont usually have that luxury in lower grades.. but the pack did really well.. just keps it up all game, couple of flashing moments from Heidke on fulltime showed his speed and finishing, but really noone stood out today, just all over the paddock, players were doing good things.

NSW Cup I mean again early roll-on and we always look good when were winning.. pack again rly solid, even without LPT and Lawson also missing... Ilias put on a few good short passes and scored one, doesnt have the speed to annihilate a game.. but good hitout for him. Im not rly sure whether he or Kyle are the better 7.. I dont rly know what to think tbh.. bit flat on everything atm, esp with Latu and prob Finau leaving.. but still more to look forward too, good chance LPT plays I would reckon, had the week off, the pack struggled last week, potentially some injuries on top.... that said was good to see Sele get thru a game today.. hes much better than Lawrie.. pushes thru the line.. but his fitness will be awful... prob give him a few weeks in reggies.. but depends on first grade injuries I suspect..

What a try fest yesterday racking up 21 between them. Ressies 11 with 60 points playing the Magpies for the Roy Masters Cup and Flegg 10 with 56 points. They were specially impressive only conceding three tries such was their domination, with new addition Kade Reed converting 8 of them and being busy as the prime play maker. Craft- Te Moananui continues to impress in the centre. This hammering should lift their confidence.

Seems the obvious conclusion Rev, given he was 18th man on Saturday and did not play yesterday . With his size coming off the bench late against tired players he could cause some chaos.
