Young Couchman needs to be rested. LKT needs to play as he was playing in ressies not burdened with the thought of being dropped for being creative and making a mistake. Young Tonga well he is a keeper just needs time to grow into his body, learn his trade and gain stamina

Agree on both points DD. Sloan specially outside Suli is being hamstrung. He should be making double his metreage. Note how he burned his opposite late in the game when Suli finally gave him the pill. Mate I cant see Flanno returning Sloan to the back for Gutho.

I agree with you RVH. Gutho has not been the same "winning" player for several weeks now. He has lessened the amount of times he chimes in to make the extra man. There has been a massive drop in the number of times of running at the try line on the right hand side and then getting the ball out to Sloan to run to the line. There have been several high kicks to him on a wing and a prayer of him catching the ball and diving over the line but he is no Lomax.

Sloan might not have been great in defending the try line in a one on one tackle but these should be executed by the stronger players and his role used to do more attack in general play and score tries.

Our halves namely K Flanno, LKT, Ilias lack playmaker ability and need much more running in attack. They need to put on their thinking hats and work out the best moves in split seconds and they cannot do this. Reading the play with eyes wide open and the brain thinking to set the body in motion I know is easy to say from my keyboard but they are professional league players and should have learnt tons of stuff in the grades they have played in.

Are there any solutions to our problems?

That is Dragons footy been like that for 12 years ........ No game manager like I have said a couple of times , Gutho , Holmes , Cook were signed to manage the team and win in tight games ....... We are worse off this year than last year .......

We do everything in slow motion, go look at the raiders v bulldogs game. The intensity and speed which they execute is so far above our level

Their is no innovation or playing outside the structure with our halves, we should have won that game with the field position we had 2nd half and we butchered it one way or another

Well lads, just got home from the game, was up in the Northern stand , not a bad crowd, the Warriors had a few fans there too. I wasnt in a happy mood to see JF get smacked but it gave me a chance to see Reed and no doubt this guy will be our 7 at some stage. Now then, LPT is a big human, solid debut and lets hope we dont burn him out. TC looked cooked at the start of the game, he needs a break. The first half was a disgrace and if we hadnt scored a try in the dying minute of the half we would have lost most of the crowd, thats how badly we were playing. Liddle came on and made a difference but why did he get taken off, who knows. The question I have is DO WE PRACTICE FIELD GOALS AT TRAINING !!! Not only kicking them but stopping them, we have a team that has no idea, and it looks bad, really bad ! Well another 1 point loss but we really only have ourselves to blame, we'll be bottom 2 very soon, and deservedly so, finals are a long way off for this team. This is the second time this year I've watched them live and it hasn't improved, actually it may have gotten worse, we need spark in the halves but we haven't got it, not with KF there. Our famous saying "but there is always next year" .

In my day we had an.old saying. No use wringing your not getting the ball, your out there demand it or go looking for it.
