I'm baffled. Why wouldn't he pick Toby at prop, where he is best, and give Nick T a chance in the second row?I guess Parra r entitled to ask re: June 30, but Flanno needs wins man, would have to be someone very good offered in replacement cause we can not afford to lose our best middle for the rest of the season... meanwhile Toby is in the 2nd row ffs.
I don't think it's a good idea throwing huge money at a marquee player. Thinking of Ben Hunt. But need a coach to be without any agenda. Flanno wanted his son in the team. Griffin wanted as many of his old Broncos U20s as possible. Mary just isn't a good coach but Cam McInnes was a favourite. Good player not really a good hooker.Yah I listened to it this arvo, they are probably right with Cobbo not being ideal here, but we need bodies.. and I doubt we get out of the Sloan 26 deal without chipping in cash.. unless he goes to the UK, but even then probably..
It's hard cause most of the journos have no respect for us.. noone thinks anyone of quality or promise should come here.. its such a sh*t sandwich.. we needed that marquee kill, Cobbo isnt it but hes a lot better than a lot of our other options.. proper 7 would be ace.. and obviously a prop, but you can see how hard it is to land props with Parra buying jdb for 2yrs.. and theyve got a lot more positive vibe than us, esp with moses as captain and halfback.
That's interesting! I thought was an issue how it was previously hard to deal with the Dragons but now it's much easier with Flanno in charge. Is this due to his bias for Kyle and seemingly his dislike for a few others. Sione Finau in particular. Not Flannos decision, he's not in charge.
Toby Couchman is much better in the middle and I think Ryan probably is too. One to start at prop and the other to start at lock IMO.Thinking about the pack for next year, could sua move into the middle with JDB leaving? tbh he hasn't gone to another level on the edge & I'd rather someone like Ryan Couchman play edge or Nick T etc as they are our future. Currently we're light on quality middles for next year.
T.Couch/Liddle/ Guler/Sele etc?
Egan/Sua/R.Couch
Cook
LPT
Nick T
Stewart
What? Not Flannos decision, he's not in charge.
There is a 10 day cooling off period RVH which would enable the Dragons to reconsider their options and put a better offer to Jack which he might accept seeing that he wants to be a one club player. You just never know. If the Club, however, doesn't put a better offer to Jack, then the Club just doesn't see him fitting into the future plans of the Dragons 2026 and beyond and that will be that with Jack.First Zac now Jack, am seething enuff to dump this club, but I know I cant as been tired to it for over a half century. What a hard act to follow will Jack be. Not too many guys say that ''I'd bleed for this club". FFS keep him for rest of season.
Nor me blacksafake. These journos can create a lot of click baits.I call BS. I can’t really see clubs lining up to sign Ilias & Glover.

Jack will be after as much as he can get money and contract length wise - many legal bills that he would have had to pay from 2019-2021 and need to look at the future with his young family to take care of.
Any youngsters at the club moving into the top 30 before June 30 or for 2026??Dragons have already announced his departure.
Looks like a classic case of a good NSW Cup halfback but not quite up to first grade. Then again, until he gets a chance, you never know.I call BS. I can’t really see clubs lining up to sign Ilias & Glover.
