Round 24 vs Warriors

Just thought about Hamish Stewart and he’s had 2 bad Cat 1 HIA’s in the space of 6 weeks

I’d be tempted to just sit him out the final 3 games tbh pending the injury situation.

He’ll miss the Souths games anyway but there’s no point trotting him back out for the final 2 games unless we have zero options
Yep all 3 tbh were pretty bad... Jack prob back for last 2 games, but Hame was fully out of it also.. but given how little he has played maybe hes ok to come back.

I look at next year, and at full strength were fine.. but this year has shown you how dangerous it is to rely on being full strength.. and this was without any bad suspensions either.. all injury and HIA.

Tsougranis might end up a very valuable asset to the squad, put him on the bench and he gives a heap of versatility to cover in-game injuries + he’s a pocket rocket who can change a game in the back row if required

Hame against Cronulla and tonight when he was playing looked excellent, if he could play 75% of the games he’d be rated way higher by the fan base. That’s the knock on him, great prop but so bloody injury prone

I’ve said for a while I think 2026 will be his best year in the red v by a country mile

Hopefully Tsougranis gets a decent crack in 26. Back rower and can cover centre and lock, perfect bench player. Very strong defensively and doesn’t mind the tough stuff with ball in hand. Runs great lines in reserve grade so fingers crossed for him

Flanno is wrong. The rules don't change weekly. That has always been an obstruction. Just not last night.
Can everyone please stop with the BS? There is no confusion about the rules. The NRL wants Warriors to do well and has made it clear to certain, trusted refs, video and on-field that Dragons were only a mathematical chance so wherever possible, give Warriors the 50-50 calls. In this environment, it was only logical the video ref would take it way too far and give them the 1-99 calls.

Agree as I have said many times before you can blood your young rising stars but especially in the forwards you cannot rush them into 1sts quite simply because boys playing against men and the high impact contacts as we have seen this year

Honestly reckon if we had most of our guys fit we’d have beat them comfortably.
Jack and Hamish rubbed out early was a hammer blow. The guys are actually now playing with some pride in the club, all too late. Was a bummer losing Ryan and Egan early on, then when we had some momentum Toby gone too, then Holmes. Having said that, consistency was again our biggest enemy, that and our inability to ice close games, despite having many yrs of experience with Gutho , Holmes and Cook to bring us home.

No Couchman x 2, Egan, Suli as well. I've been critical of Flanno but he's got the team he has largely put together playing much better.

I wish that this Foxsports News writer got Corey Allan's name edited. For the life of me (tongue in cheek) I wondered and wondered who in hell was Allan Corey who suffered a crusher tackle applied by Jackson Ford in the 23rd minute of the game. Haha! Allan Corey - he must have been thinking of Norman Corey haha!.
