In hindsight it's easy to say the club made a mistake but at the time, seems most fans shrugged their shoulders when he signed with the Roosters.

Plus who saw Gutho going downhill this fast? Or is just the speed of the game has exposed his lack of speed for a fullback?

I'm still bewildered by DA and co for not wanting Cody, we had no back up for Gutho, Sloan didnt work at fullback. Yet the Roosters said yes for 2 years at low money to back up Tedesco and the wing position. He was fast and looked dangerous at times yesterday as well as playing 80minutes.

Imagine him at fullback this year for Us?

Hindsight is great and its also a sad thing, we couldn't afford a top 30 spot for him, it was just to high risk. Good on him for making the return, I watched him get hit hard last night and he got doubled over. Time will tell how many more of those hits he can take.

Roosters offered more, Ramsey took that.

f*ck Flano for that stupid Lawson deal. Not being able to shed lawson was the big issue in the end, that was the spot we wanted Cody in.
