Doust is a whole different story, I don't think there is any route to make him stand down.. so he would have to do it willingly.. I feel like the club is in a bad enough situation that he should want to fall on his own sword.... i.e. our very existence is now in jeopardy if we dont get our next decisions spot on... but he doesnt seem like someone whos going to go anywhere willingly.

Doust will not give up his paypacket, he will keep going until he is dead, free ride for him, gets free or subsidised food/drinks at the club, isnt accountable to anyone, job for life, same as Young, these guys would struggle out in the real world trying to earn a living..

Their as bad as the Penns who are on the board and own manly charging manly interest on repayments when they loan the club money

I’m so beyond checked out once we get to this stage, it’s a 3 year cycle and it’ll happen again if we don’t sort out shit out

I was petrified of the spoon before the year started.. but now its the least of my concerns moving forward... lets just hope that the depth of this hole turns out to be the catalyst for real change....

Rumour on another site is Haran will be gone, he still has support but not enough to save him.. surely has to be reality.. as I mentioned if Watsford cant even get that done (GM is the one football dept lever we have left to pull) hes wasting his time in the role.

To get them out is a simple process, let's say Jo runs for the board he will need enough votes to be in the top 8 candidates, we could all vote for him but we have to be a member for 5 years to vote..
So we run a campaign and miraculous get Jo on the board. Now it's time for the board to vote for members on the SGI board they all vote Doust and Piggott.
Time to up the campaign next year Jo Eric you and I run, we have a massive campaign and another miracle we all get in.
Time to vote, we all vote for Jo he gets in and the rest vote for Doust
f*ck it he's still on the board.

Thanks Mug, so in other words nothing will ever change until these guys actually remove themselves, oh well lets just accept the fact that we are a shit show and thats it, Gee I wish i could just go back to the good old days where all I was interested in was the Dragons playing footy, now its worrying about everything else except for the game, no wonder supporters are walking away.

Shane has proven he has rocks in his head. Same shit week after week, same players week after week, same results week after week. He simply hasn’t evolved and the game is way different these days. He continues to coach in his set ways, refuses to budge just like Des did and he copped the bullet. Shane’s bullet is just about to be fired
