The starting middles were bad the starting back 5 worse ….
Couchman boys, Stewart and Cookie can holds their heads up. Reed, good to see him get his first game out of the way, LPT laziness cost him a good debut try. Young said Reed will be the 7 vs Newcastle.I didn't get to watch the game today, I had work commitments, I'm glad I didn't. I dont blame DY for any of it , its all on the players, it was a horrible, awful disgusting embarrassing performance. 3 years of embarrassment now, enough is enough. The Dragons dont know how to win anything anymore, you have accepted the standard of being a bunch of losers, you showed no resilience, no fight no spirit in the manner of the day. These players really need a cold hard look at themselves, you should be totally ashamed of picking up your paycheck. I'm not going to pick players out, one in all in, you are a team. Anyway 0 - 8, what a complete and utter rabble you are !!!!
Sure we’re. I’d be putting Egan and Nick T in the 17 over the next few weeks and slowly phasing out Lawrie, Kerr. Push Su’a and/or Luc up front when they come on. No use sticking with the same dead wood week after week. Get some minutes into the young blokes who will be there in 2027Kerr Guler lawrie all a bit meh
Well his laziness cost Reed his debut try, and I believe it also led to a soft roosters try.. that's 12pts.. that's quite a negative impact for a bench forward to be making.LPT laziness cost him a good debut try.
Actually I might reword my take on LPT stopping in the line to cost Reed his try. I’d rather say he should be more aware to continue to push through the defensive line a couple more meters. Don’t want to hang the young fella by his knackers. 3 or 4 more steps and that’s a try every day of the week. Learning experience for the young man moving forwardWell his laziness cost Reed his debut try, and I believe it also led to a soft roosters try.. that's 12pts.. that's quite a negative impact for a bench forward to be making.
Puts the coach in quite a position.. ultimately id rather just back LPT (and Halangahu) and try to get that stuff out of his game.. but this is probably the sort of issue Flanno had with him... but I dont think Lawrie or Guler should be locked into the squad.. Wouldnt mind seeing a bit more of Halangahu also, but this is what sux about losing momentum in the current game.. Jacob had 14mins, 1run for 3m.. he made 5 tackles with 1 miss.. would like to see more of him than that.
This btw is exactly why the NRL were trying to change the kick-off rule before the season.. to try and stop games from blowing out with set after set in defence.
Agree, but we call out the same players every week mate, the team has now developed a losing mentality, As far as I can see we are just going through the motions. If you couldn't get yourself up for that game especially after the week we have had, then you never will. DY said it in his PC, he asked them how they feel after an embarrassing performance. We as members and supporters deserve way better than this garbage week after week, its starting to become a real piss take now, especially on Anzac Day.Couchman boys, Stewart and Cookie can holds their heads up.
