One thing I hated seeing is no one stepping up to defend Atko when Trell threw him into the post, something else happened later in the game with Sloan & also at the end with Loko but no one came to defend them. Loko stood up for himself. We can't let that happen again, I don't care if we get sinbinned but we can't be bullied, we have to show some mongrel. This is where the leaders need to show some mongrel.

Think this week is a bit fucked to play him tbh but that’s just my opinion

Would have had the bye and longer time to prep + isn’t such a massive game with all the rugby league world watching on + 60k at the ground

The kid may surprise us all but I would agree with you on the timing

Ryan Couchman edge backrow worries me, like the rest of the side.

I’d be playing Reed on the right side and Atko on the left personally, bit cooked to get a kid on debut against the chooks to play on his lesser favoured side as the 7

If a sub is held for Kyle then two of Lawrie/Guler/Kerr/Sele will have to play (assuming Halangahu gets time) ..

Of that four Lawrie is the one performing best ... struck match between the others ... The issue with current middle depth.
