I just would like to express my absolute congratulations to the Wallabies for coming from behind to score 38 unanswered points in beating the Springboks in last nights 2025 Rugby Championship opener in Johannesburg where Australia has never beaten the South Africans for 62 years. What a gutsy performance by the green and gold men when they never gave up after trailing the South Africans by 22 points after the initial 18 minutes of the game. It was good to see Joseph Suaalii intercept a high ball pass and run away to score under the posts. My prediction is that once Suaalii finishes his commitment with the Wallabies at the end of 2027 being after the World Cup, I think that he will go back to the Roosters to replace the legendary Teddy Tedesco at Fullback even though he has a 2 year player option to remain in Union.

In other Australia v South Africa sporting news from last night in Darwin, the Aussie Cricketers beat the South Africans in a thriller in the last T20 match series with Glenn Maxwell reverse sweeping for 4 runs to win on the second last ball of their allotted 20 overs. Thee Aussies looked done and dusted at 6-122 but Maxwell kept our hopes up right to the end. Australia beating the SA's 2-1 in the series.

Lawson is okay. Looks a bit small and is hammered when he takes it up early in the set after clearing kicks. But he's not close to the Rorters winger they brought over from Union. That goes for ESL as well. Seems like we are the last to get decent ESL recruits.
