Jeeze The Couchmans, Loko Jr , Finau Latu, Jett Liu, Jake Webster, Jake H, Nick T, Stewart, Egan. Something has to give. The Couchies, Loko, Finau and Jake H should be our priorities imho. Nick T and or Lui second priority.

Do we now have a carbon copy replacement for Zac with Val. Both are accurate goal kickers, Val is faster and probably more elusive, but does he have the passion, the brute strength, the aerial prowess or the uncanny ball tricks that were signatures of Zac.

BOD has said he will play out his contract so we are stuck with him for another year anyway. Enables Ward to have a year in Ressies as prep to take over.

My thoughts exactly regarding Hunt. No matter how one feels about him, and I think he's a massively overrated halfback but excellent 50~60mim a game hooker. Give the club one more year and a half to find a suitable replacement.

I also agree about Holmes and Lomax. Zac wasn't able to use his ball skills on the wing. He does have the aerial ability but Holmes adds a bit of the much needed speed.

Just watching the Tigers-Souths game. Commentators talking up Tigers 19 year-old 5/8. They are mentioning his ability to run and provide precise passes. I realised that is something Kyle Flanangan can't do. He either catches and passes immediately or he runs himself. He can't do both.

Seriously are you ever going to do anything on here other then finding ways to whinge about Kyle? Galvin is a gun, no doubt, but he's got 2 very solid experienced players game managing for him and he's got a licence to play a proper heads up running five-eighth. Completely different scenario.

Our 'game manager' can't manage but constantly demands the ball and overplays himself, which is why we've had so many 6's struggle over the years. No one's said Kyle is some gun number 6 but he's filling the role and we've massively improved this year on our left. Mainly because Flanno has called out Hunt and is forcing him to share his role and take some accountability for once. He's been a much bigger problem for some time and you refuse see it or look outside your own bias.

C'mon. Massively over rated at hooker too mate. Seen his last two Origin games, Harry Grant played him under the table and did too, according to a Kangaroo game from a few years back I watched. Hunt started, replace early and when Grant took over added much needed spark and the Roos ran away with the game.

This, soo much shit for Kyle from dragons supporters when Hunt has been shit for years & is on marquee money. No one talks about Hunt yelling at Kyle for dropping the ball instead of going back into the defensive line, no one brings up Hunt's missed tackles or his failure to adapt within games. Hunt's been the constant in our losing seasons.

I agree criticism of Kyle is sometimes over the top. But IMO so is criticism of Hunt. He had another good game today to go with his blinder against Melbourne. Interrupted by his shocker against the Bullgrubs. I was in favour of not re-signing him and Sullivan being halfback. Shows how clueless I am.

If LKT is going to be the 5/8, who is going to be the halfback is a massive worry. I can understand why they are talking about offering Hunt 1 more year.

Galvin is a gun because he can pass while running.

I criticise Kyle because so few others do and yesterday was the first game without him all year. Why don't you ever whinge about the attitude of posters regarding Bird or Hunt or Lawrie or Molo or Eisenhuth or RFM? All of those cop it much more than Kyle.

Yesterday confirms what I've been saying for about 2 years. Bird is a good utility player. Worth keeping around for next year unless another club is paying 100% of his contract. Right now he is the best 5/8 we have and will be next year as well depending on how things go with LKT.

“He knows I can play anywhere in the backline, which I’ve done throughout my career,” Holmes said. “That’s what he wanted, someone that can play all three positions, a goal-kicker. Obviously they are losing Zac Lomax [to Parramatta] next year.

“They signed me to play centre to pair up with Moses Suli. That’s where I’m going to play, but it’s about what’s best for the team and where I fit in. I’m just grateful to play somewhere in a team that wants me in the future, which is nice. I’m excited, can’t wait.”

If Flanno isn't confident about Sloan moving forward, I wonder if A. J. Brimson wold be worth trying to sign.

I think AJ just signed a contract but it'll be interesting to see how the titans fit Kini/JC/Brimson into the fullback & 5/8th positions. I'd love either Kini or JC.

AJ has 4yrs after this one.. Campbell and Kini 2 more years to go.. I dont understand how they can afford them all + their rep props... plus Boyd who was a signing at the time and Foran.. but I spose 1 more year and Foran is gone and probably Boyd is sold off.. so 1 position opens up.. but they still need to buy a 7 in yet.

AJ would have been a great signing for us, but that ship has probably sailed now..
