That would be a great hire. Dolphins attack is the best to watch in the league. Wonder if he will bring his son back with him if it happens

He's obviously done well at the Dolphins but we'll have Ben Creagh as general manager of football, Dean Young as head coach and now Nathan Fien as assistant? Old Boys still running things for their own benefit?
That's true. There is a difference between local bloke who has demonstrated not much being promoted beyond his capacity with no due process and a bloke who came to the club as a player late, fulfilled a role, moved on, took up coaching, rose to a decent level and was recruited to the club with familiaral connections.
That was my first thought is their weapons are unbelievably good and their is strike everywhere lead by Katoa who’s a top 3 halfback in the compwas thinking we would likely have the assistants sorted in the next month before pre-season kicks off.... first vie heard of Fien even being an assistant NRL coach.. but im happy they are looking around.. dunno what effect hes had on the Dolphins but theyve been killing it obviously... tbf its a killer roster also.
He didn’t really say anything interesting like you said just a very casual chat about what it means to him but no inside information was hoping for some dirt lolWatched Deano for an hour on James Graham's podcast. Have to say he is a humble great guy who absolutely loves the young guys and his Dragons.
Nothing too insightful here that we dont know, but he handled every question very well and there is a real passion from him.
I really hope for all of us it comes off next year.
