It is the off season..... Anyway, people don't like how he did it with his misses at home pregnant but he was certainly innocent of criminal offences. The corrupt cop was certainly guilty. I know the family of the other accused was livid the cop didn't get jail time and were considering civil action as they blame him for it going as far as it did.

If I was the CEO I would have gone on the front foot as said something to end of, "In this country a man is innocent until found guilty in a court of law. We are sorry if sponsors or anyone else doesn't like it." but that probably demonstrates my lack of marketing knowledge or competence. As GCRV GCRV alluded to:

unfortunately it may well have been something which negatively affected the club in the sponsorship sense. It most certainly affected team on the field.

That's the way I see it anyway.

Good idea though won't be Alibaba or Tencent whose presence in the Australian market is very limited. BYD is another story.

Atleast if it was a red logo would be fine (someone like westpac or JAC an obvious fit).. feel like the penrith black and gold jersey opened a few ppls eyes that logos can be set to 1 colour to improve the look rather than making everything a bit of a dogs breakfast with bits of colour poking out everywhere. sleeve sponsors too... most companies have a black & white (mono) or white version of their logo for certain situations.. would be very easy to create a red one (or whatever colour suits that team).

Something about that Squadron logo in particular rly bugged me though, I legit thought it was mistake when I first saw it, its not symmetrical, with bits hanging off the side, doesn't fit any space well.. in short its a sh*t logo :p
