I wasn't aware of Anthony Griffin's involvement with the junior systems GCRV. Thanks for pointing it out, and if his efforts have contributed to the juniors coming through at the moment, then I am grateful for his contribution.

I don't know it. I only know he talked the talk about doing just that when he first joined the club. And they say he did the same thing at Penrith and the Broncos.

Does Twitter/X need to be included in this?
Personally I only use it for things directly related to my work but I think a lot of NRL rumours start there.

Can I just say, if you want to share any info on any social media Just a Mug Fan Just a Mug Fan shares, send a PM and ask him. Otherwise why would he share anything at all if his requests are ignored? I think that would include sharing the info word of mouth only for that person to share it on social media.

Please, pretty f*cking please, send a PM asking if you can share it. If the answer is, "Yes", go for your life. Otherwise, please don't.

Here is a tip from a new member on this forum. After being treated like an imbecile and scolded like a naughty child in the previous forum I was in, I'm lucky I have this one and whilst I do miss most of the other members, I remain appreciative of what we have here, it seems more than reasonable that you can converse with admin and not just get banned for something totally ridiculous. So if someone has a request, then please follow it and dont f#@k it up.

I started looking at this Forum when I could not input stuff on the other one justa. Nice to see you here with the likes of The Rev, Illusion, RVH, Ayios, etc.
I noted that this Forum is much more compliant and understanding and many have plenty of knowledge on our beloved Dragons. Hopefully any contribution from me is worthy of any discussion.

I am still with the other one and I am being very careful at the moment and just looking at the posts.

Hi Dave, its great to see you here, I am so sorry over what happened on the other forum, the final straw was they allowed me back but without any functions or edit capability, and when I asked them why they just banned me, again, I couldnt acknowledge anyone, it was just the worst ever. The admin staff on here are very good and at least they will converse with you if you have something to ask, I find it a lot better now that some of the old crew are starting to join.
Anyway you take care old mate and we will continue the Dragons plight as we go.
PS: not once did I believe that we did anything wrong to warrant what happened to us !!!

I could not understand why. I felt really let down and I knew you were in a similar plight. I wondered why you couldn't "like" someone's post with the thumbs up emoji and now I know.

Anyway, I am grateful that I can be a part of this Forum and I hope it continues to grow and be very successful.

The main thing now is to set our sights on the Dragons players getting their act together. It isn't a hard task but they need to maintain focus and discipline throughout the 80 minutes of playing time and not to switch off. They had control of at least 3 games for much of the time and all it took to lose it was a total lack of concentration and having poor ball control when in possession and not defending rigorously enough.

Once we can get our defence in order we will have much more success.

The Daily Telegraph is running a series of stories about Players Agents, well worth the read if anyone has a subscription.

An interesting piece of information from them.

Of the 52 agents surveyed,
36 per cent say money is the most significant factor in a player’s decision to move clubs.
Other reasons that influence a player’s decision to move clubs,
ithe coaching staff (19.2 per cent),
team culture (11.5 per cent) and premiership potential (9.6 per cent)

Location doesn't rate high despite what a lot of fans think.
