More than anything, the Warriors show how much and how quickly a good coach can turn the Dragons around. A good coach and a halfback half as good as Sean Johnson, which don't have now.

In saying all that, these identified things are the very basics that any teams attacking structures should have. You can't run attacking plays without players off the ball moving, add to that players supporting the ball carrier inside or outside in case he breaks a tackle. Online defence wins grand finals, online defence is dependent upon every player doing their job in that important 10m area, you have to have confidence in your shoulders defenders, speed off the line is of the most importance in 1 line. We don't have any of those either

What a choke! Broncos have a young team with a few veterans. This is the type of team we have to field next year. Our problem is the spine. Sloan needs to harden up drastically over the off season. If Amone isn't in jail, he needs to improve a lot. And Hunt, what can we say? Overrated, overpaid, aging, arrogant. Really need a decent replacement. Liddle is probably the least of our problem and he isn't more than reliable.

As you say a young team with a few veterans , lost the grand final , when it was there to win , three bad plays by Reynolds that started the Panthers come back (which normally doesn't make ) ....... but in saying that they will learn from that and , as they say you have to lose one to win one ...... As for our team we have been the opposite to the Broncs , we have had a team of veterans especially under Hook , with a splash of youth .......

Wish it would happen but realistically, which QLD team is need of a halfback and has salary cap space? The best result would be to go ahead and recruit that good halfback, move Hunt to his best position, hooker. But definitely get rid of him for 2025.

I don't get the Cleary-craze the media is on at all. Yes, he was good for the last 20 min and quite average for the first 60. I thought Crighton or Leota or JFH deserved MoM.

..Lachlan Lam? Oh yes. Apparently Flanno was looking at his hooker team mate Iape (sp), hope at same time he was also sounding out Lam. Offer him overs of what he is currently on to lure him home. Also take a look at two big bopper props with effective tackle records, either Aussie or Pom.
