Unsure if this is the appropriate thread but I think our social media content has improved already. Coupled with the COE potentially being utilised ahead of schedule & ofcourse the Keaon singing, it feels like the front office/club admin have done a great job.

I'd also add the partnership to take bulldogs v dragons 2nd game to allianz is a smart move financially. I think that's a bit more big club thinking. I hope it'll be a sell out as both clubs should be considered as a powerhouse in the future.

Mods, apologies it it's the wrong thread. Please feel free to move it. I didn't want to start a new thread, rather use this existing one.
I hadn't heard about that. I presume that means it's a Dragons home game. It will be embarrassing if Dragons are going badly, Dogs going well and the crowd split is something like 80-20% their way.

DRAGONS MEMBER FORUMS WITH HEAD COACH SHANE FLANAGAN AND CEO TIM WATSFORD

The club started holding these member forums with Coach Flano and CEO / Chairman in March 2024.

The most recent one was held last Wednesday (14 Feb) in the Dragons' dressing room at Jubilee Stadium.

I have been to a few of these and got a lot out of it - if nothing else, great to see the Head Coach and CEO connecting directly with members. Flano and Tim address questions direct from members on many issues.

*A Few Takeaways from the Forum*

-The Club has set a goal to win a Premiership within the next 3-5 years

-Added new strength & conditioning staff with an huge focus on being the fittest team in the NRL

-Blake Lawrie attended an 8-week training camp in the off-season, which has transformed his body shape and mobility

-Luciano Leilua is down to 112kg (trimmed down 11kg from end of season) with the goal of reaching 108kg

-The club is looking at at least two games per season in bigger stadiums like Allianz (Anzac Day being one and Round 25 vs Canterbury is the other for 2026). To attract larger crowds and corprate $$

-Social Media has become a major priority for communicating with the fans

-The "Fire and Ice" jersey has become the highest and fastest selling in the St George-Illawarra era
