Is there any point in which Flanno starts to come under pressure around here? I can't believe the lack of ridicule he's gotten for asking the media to "ask other coaches", rival coaches, about his selections. Then having one arrogant little fuk actually do it would be the funniest thing in the world if it was the Shonkies or Rorters and etc coach.

I don't think anyone denies that. I think he's always done that. It's just the best of his abilities isn't good enough.
It'd be funny if those journalists were to ask Ciraldo or Robinson. They would both insist how much they would love Kyle in their teams but salary cap pressure meant unfortunately they couldn't keep him.

In his current no.7 position I would rate him 10th in this competition . It is what it is and there is no doubt in my mind if we had a better engine room then perhaps we could have played semi finals football this season. Just my views

Huge wraps but what has he actually done? Has he won them a game with his on field performance or influence? I havent seen one.
Believe me I have seen huge wraps in my 50 plus years of playing and coaching. It means zip unless you performance consistently on the field in 1sts. Just my views

Campbell has been playing 5/8. Much better there than halfback and much better fullback than 5/8 but strictly as a halfback, you are probably right. It's close.

I watched the game against the Roosters a couple of weeks back. Apparently his first or one of his first after a long injury lay off. Was very impressive. I think he must have gotten the most Dally M points.

Flanagan is the best halfback we have at the club currently, Ilias to me is lacking confidence currently, our issue is we have a lot of average players even at their best, what the main issue is and causes the flow on effect down to the halves and backs, is our go forward, we struggle to make meters, which has a flow on effect with our kicking game, we have forwards who lack strength in defence as well, they are unable to put other forwards on their ass, cant put them on their back, cant get up off the ground quick enough to get to marker, we don't hit and stick as they say when we tackle, when we have the ball we struggle to make meters and get a roll on, until we fix our go forward, it will be the same, you can blame Kyle, LKT, Gutho etc but it all stems from the forwards.

Ai, I am rly curious if we lose a couple more (against good opposition), if the pressure forces Ilias into 1st grade, but I dont think it helps us.. he might have 1 moment or 2... but imo hes really just not feeling games this year, even in a dominant cup side, passes going to ground, poor kick choices.. its either premeditated, or hes just not in good form.. he could also be adjusting to having less speed after his leg injury perhaps.. but its generating errors.. and thats not something you want to add into the 1st grade mix.. its hard enough as it is.
He wont play Glover at this point I imagine... hes not gonna move Gutho, so I rly dont see any other option than Kyle or Ilias.. and LKT just keep doing his thing.. an injury or 2 is a different story..

I was in favour of Ilias getting a chance a few weeks ago. Just to relieve a bit of the pressure on coach and son. I always thought and still do, they are basically as good as each other but Kyle kicks goals.

! KF, the Shonkies and Rorters and Grubs reject might be as good or better than Ilias, the childhood St George supporter. But KF and Ilias doesn't work as a combination. LKT and KF is even worse. So what is the 3rd way??

Good point. If KF and LKT isn't working so have to change, why not go with JDB and KF or Luch and KF or Cook and KF? Why does there only have to be 3 ways?God this is stupid

Stupid argument anyway. I've always been in favour of Ilias and LKT. Just because the pressure isn't doing the coach, team or KF any good. In my view anyway.

This is really a difficult issue. I know a lot of Dragons fans have always been loath to criticise the head coach. But I just wanted to say, on the Fox Sport blog someone asked the moderator about the possibility of KF being dropped for Ilias or Glover. The Fox Sport guy said "no" and then actually apologised to St George supporters. Has anyone ever seen anything like that before?
