Marschke is regarded as a journeymen. He is now 27 yrs old . He has had his opportunity since 2018 to break into and cement a 1st grade spot. He has finally pulled on a 1st grade jersey with us in 2024. He is no match winner he is a decent 2nd string 5/8 / halfback. In attack in the 7 games this season has had 10 runs for 225m so avg 32m a game. He has had 2 try assists. Has made 2 line breaks, 1 line break assist. His kicking game not too bad avg 117.5m, no 40/20, made 7 line breaks avg 1 per game. In defence had only made 2 errors, made 95 tackles avg 13.5 per game, missed 10, avg 1.43. Not anything to hang your hat on albeit only 7 games . Flanagan won't be losing his spot to him

How many minutes has he played in the halves compared to Kyle? I know Kyle won't be losing his spot to Marschke because his dad is the coach. That's what is bothering me so much.

Blocka looks the smallest after Lily Rogan. Zac looks as big as the Couchmans.

Obviously not as many. Don't get me wrong Flanagan/ Hunt combo won't get us a semi finals spot. Personally I rate our spine around 12th/17th if we finish anywhere above 12th will be an achievement in my view. Our biggest challenge is our main play maker is in the twighlight of his career.

I like your optimism. Which spine is worse than ours? Maybe Parramatta without Moses playing. Tigers spine is pretty good. The young 5/8 everyone is talking about, Korasau, Bulla who has frankly speaking, been much better than Sloan for 2 seasons.
Gold Coast have Foran, Campbell, Brimson. Canberra's spine is also pretty bad. They might have the worst. Also Sharks spine is very average but I'd say better than ours. Newcastle have Ponga and a bunch of reserve graders but just Ponga makes it better than ours. I don't know. You tell me which spine is worse than the Dragons spine?

Just my views and that's why I picked us to run 12th this season. Obviously there are other factors that would affect a club such as playing depth as a result of injuries to spine players. Let's see if I'm around the mark. If you put me on the spot at the beginning of the season, I rated, Tigers, Titans, Knights, Bulldogs Raiders worse than ours

I watched the Bulldogs-Cowboys game today. Their halfback led the team around quite well. Doesn't have much of a running game but looks to be turning into a pretty good game manager.
