lawson is such an athlete.. but im not loving how ready he is to throw risky bat on passes.. gotta respect the pill and get tackled in rugby league.

During the offseason, someone said (can't remember who it was) that Lawson will be our starting winger from rd 1, i said no chance, he needs a good run of KOE cup games before he is ready, possibly the whole season and another preseason under his belt.

Really its just a question of how fast can Lawson undo those bad habits? Some of us are pretty slow in that department (guilty here), some are lightning.. gotta hope for the latter, but its gonna take real footy games I think for Lawson to learn.

I think with his stature he could make an excellent centre.. great agility, speed, he is tough too, but its a whole lot more to learn than Winger.. and maybe they really want him on the wing.. but they dont have a choice unless more injuries come in.... and just on that.. I would be shocked if Feagai hasnt got broken ribs or some sort of damage from that last hit they put on him... boy is tough as nails.

Yes at least a couple of times he tried for a quick flick pass on to his winger when he would have been better catching / holding the ball.

Ramsey is a freak. Already a leading contender for try of the year. Had some great 1v1 try saving tackles too. Hard not to get excited by his nrl prospects after that performance but need to take it one game at a time.

The raw player that Ramsey is, physically and mentally is 100% a gun NRL player.. its just whether he could do it for 27 rounds I feel.. how his health, fitness and weight ends up over that time.. how he rebounds from the hits he is taking... we also have so few Top30 spots.. but I have to admit I loved watching some speed from fullback in that game.. hes a good apple and the difference between the sides today.

And he isnt holding back any young guns either... well other than Sloan but they seem to want to get some wing time into him.. and im not sure what the plan for BRumble is.. but he seems like he will be used on the wing.. and its a long way behind them too Borg and eventually Burton.. but there is no hotshot as such ready to go... so for now its a good spot for him.

Very young pack! I wonder what will happen when a few of the extended reserves drop back. #10 and #11 back to Jersey Flegg? #10 being fast tracked for NRL? Now we know why Finau wasn't selected for first grade. #3 playing at #3 is an interesting choice. I think this might be a position #4 excels in.	Impressive centres though I thought #4 might have been promoted to NSW Cup. I don't know who #6 is but he must be good to keep #14 on the bench. Speaking of which, is #14 going to sit on the bench the whole game unless there is an injury in the halves? Hoping #5 goes well. Big, fast and seems to have some pretty good skill.

Did Jersey Flegg No.8 move up to NSW Cup? If it's him I'm thinking of, was very impressive.

Young forwards more than held their own last week and couch is doubling down in them. Good to see. Didn't take #3 long to get called up. I wonder if he'll go back to Flegg when or if Sloan drops back. Rumble to centre, Sloan to wing. Is Corey Allan injured again?	Don't know what's going on with #5. No player named. Isn't #4 usually a backrower? I thought #14 was injured for a while yet. Why do they keep naming him? #10 might turn into a good, hard-running, hard working prop to partner LPT in the near future.
