If Flanagan is picked up by one of those clubs, Browny would be a perfect replacement. Just as long as he is kept away from actually being a coach of anything above Jersey Flegg. He won't get another NRL coaching gig. In theory the club would be able to lock him in as the parthways guru for a long time.

• Panthers assistant coach Cameron Ciraldo
• Warriors caretaker coach, Stacy Jones.

Flanagan might stick around after all but the club has to get a firm commitment from him. Can't have him continually agitating for a job elsewhere.

Well said. He needs to be 100% committed to his job for 3 years otherwise, Browny is right for the job.
