Feel like no one really wants to move to Perth. Actually a really nice place just super far away from friends and family most likely. The big danger is PNG. They are going to be a powerhouse with the tax free salary plus third party deals. Can see them fielding a very good side in their first year. Chammas seems to know what he is doing aswell. Pretty sure he was a Dragons fan could have been a good get for our gm of footy.

in the 80s the population of the country was about half what it is now and we had a 13 team comp that was pretty good ...
The issue is not the amount of talent, it is how it is spread. You can have more players/more teams and if the average spread in each team is equivalent put on a good show .. the issue will be the "cap" and unbalanced nature of player distribution which happens now.
It is closely matched capable teams that put on a good show, there have been plenty of examples of club games that are far superior to SOO simply because they were matched not stacked.

Just watching Drinkwater and seeing him drop another bomb then 20min later score a great try by running a great line and just powering over the defence it is going to be an absolute rollercoaster that's for sure. I reckon he would be a better 6 then 1, I would like to see

There was that unfortunate incident with the wrestle mania while cheating the cap when Dragons had Gaz, Coops and etc their prime. Might have cost us a dynasty. But it's a long time ago now. I'd much prefer Storm to win than a few other clubs. Bullgrubs for one.
