Get where you are coming from but I'd say a massive upgrade on Eisenhuth. Much better running game. Much better in defensive game. Much better passing game. Difference between a fringe first grader and an Aus captain.

We lack forward skill, Crichton the only guy to offload regularly to give us second phase chances.
Barnett and Cotter are willing workers but we can do better Mal. Both bookends Carrigan and Collins lacked mongrel. They made just over 100m between them.

Many more metres and much better in defence but so is Jack de Belin vs Eisenhuth.
I firmly believe that if not for having to carry some very ordinary St George teams and for some very unfashionable off-field events Jack de Belin would have been a great. Even back in the day when everyone was signing the praises of Widdop, look at the results when Widdop was unavailable vs when de Belin was unavailable. It tells a story in and of itself.
