Not a bad idea. Will need to definitely bulk up as wings are required to hit it up these days. I can see Tyrells ball skills coming into play on the flank too.

I think Sloan would be almost of no use on the wing.. he's got to be able to carry the ball out of his end (non-negotiable), and if he cant do it in the middle, he wont do it with the threat of a sideline next to him... his only chance I think is that he will get physically bigger.. I used to see Saab in the same way, but I look at his frame now and hes got real muscle in his thighs and his torso etc.. hes filled out, but hes taller I guess so he has a size advantage.

I think Alex Johnson has several kgs on Sloan. One of Sloan's strong points is his ball playing. Without that, he's very average. Someone mentioned making him play 5/8 in NSW Cup for a bit. Where he has nowhere to hide. I like this idea and if he still doesn't put his body on the line to a much greater extent, get rid of him. That's my view. It would be a shame for someone so talented but can't have a fullback playing like he did against the Broncos.

Make him play 5/8 or centre in Cup until he toughens up. Could also have him play there is opposed training sessions.

Parramatta won SB Ball a year ago and media are talking about several of that team being in high demand. That bodes for the absolutely dominant St George SG Ball team from this year and then there are also the Illawarra boys. Shouldn't be doom and gloom after missing out on that Parra bloke. Instead should be looking forward to who is going to be available part-time next year and full-time the following year. Though NRL might still struggle to make the finals next year.

love it.. Flanno has had nearly a season to get his feet under the desk now.. we must have a much better feel now for what he likes & what he would like to change across all the grades... was so much to do when he first arrived.

I don't know enough about any of them but I like Flanno is making changes. He isn't happy with the status-quo which isn't that bad but should be better.

Endeavour Sports has enjoyed a successful association with the Sharks extending over two decades, with the school currently supplying 2024 Sharks SG Ball coach Dave Howlett and under-17 Matthews Cup coach Brad Kelly. Both are members of the Rugby League coaching program at Endeavour Sports High.

I see a lot of similarities with Bostock in those highlights.. tall, strong, fast, can take a ball over his head.. I like the way he shrugs off tackles around his ankles with a subtle little movement.. maybe all good players do that.. but not all our guys do.. they often lose balance.
