I wonder if the club is interested in Jack Hethherington.
I hope not. From what I've seen of him, he's a fringe first grader in the Josh Kerr. More aggressive and less disciplined version of Josh Kerr. That's probably why the Grubs are trying to get him off their books.

Take Luke Thompson or maybe Pangai Jnr off their hands of they are subsidizing it but none that are currently in the first grade squad other than that.

Matt Lodge worth signing for the remainder of the year? He's certainly good enough to make the cut in the Dragons best 17 but apparently off the field he's a real *+?><$# so it's a tough one. And of course it'd only be for the remainder of this year. A very short term solution to our prop problem.

Most definitely starts with Molo with Lawrie off the bench Woods/Burgess the other rotation props.

Worth it for the rest of the season. He may not turn them into a premiership force to challenge Penrith or Melbourne but may turn them into a top 8 side which is worth quite a lot of money.

I enjoy seeing the Bullgrubs struggle so badly but more to the point is Luke Thompson. Apparently he's on 800k a year. On his form last week and tonight, he's worth half that max. I'd love to see him at the Dragons for the rest of this year and next on 400k with the Grubs putting in the other 400k.

They were atrocious when he was on. He went off and they came good. He came back on and they are atrocious again. I think it's just coincidence but it can't make team mates happy knowing he is on so much more money than them but playing not any better if not worse.

Originally I was against it but now Redcliff don't want him, at least for next year and he is only 26. I thought he was older than that. Now I'm defiantly in favour of the club signing him. Molo and Lodge starting, Lawrie coming off the bench. It goes a long way to solving our prop problems for the next few years.

Redcliff, or the club via Bennett say they don't want Lodge for next year but what Bennett makes public about recruitment and retention doesn't mean much. Easy way to work it out. Offer him a contract for more than the rest of this year. If he accepts, great. If he rejects, don't bother about the rest of this year then.

If the Dragons don't go try to sign him, I can only think he is even worse than his publicly known reputation or he does in fact have a deal with Redcliff for next year. Or he has a deal to join another club for the remainder of this year and beyond.

If he has a deal with Redcliff for next year, I'm not sure the Dragons should sign him for the rest of this year. May be better to promote from within. M. Molo is already making a debut and then there is J. Hunt and Coric who can't be far away.

Yeah, if he comes cheap, could be good. Where are you at present? Spain?
Barcelona the house full sign is out here. People all over the world it seems are happy to forget about covid and live with it. Start our cruise tomorrow so may be out of range. There are 6 cruise ships in port tomorrow. It was pretty easy to travel here the only difference is you need to do your arrival cards before you arrive electronically now online and show a hard copy of your vaccination.

My wife and I love cruising this is our 21st and as an added extra leaves on her birthday so she's very happy
I went on a yacht trip from Southport to Sydney once. Wasn't "a cruise". Everyone had to work. That included climbing the mast, cleaning the toilet, helping prepare food and etc. Was in summer. Was nice sitting on the bow, watching the dolphins and the shore leave was a lot of fun. i.e. non-stop drinking. I was actually also fortunate enough to meet a young girl on the yacht who lived in Main Beach.
