Need more consistent performances from Molo. I have no expectations for Lawrie but we need a fit Sele. Molo/Sele/JDB is a solid middle with great edge support in Su'a & Luch. Bench can be something like the Couchmen x 2, Liddle & LPT. That's a very good bench imo. Even getting 1 gun FRF would change the dynamics of our middle rotation.

Not surprised. I'll still support the team but Flanno has to go. He just loves his journeymen too much to the detriment of the young players Griffin is responsible for. Maybe Flanno sees himself as a male lion. Kills young cubs not sired by him.

He's not confirmed yet. But how can anyone he happy with Flanno if he is? Once again, the double standards. The tackling machine Eisenhuth directly missed at least 3, maybe 4 tackles in the Bulldogs game (I think only played them once this year) which led to tries but no accountability at all. He wasn't dropped and Flanno didn't publicly critisise him. But when the fullback Sloan did that, Flanno dropped him and critisised him publicly.
Am I the only one who cares about the very obvious double standards? I remember Griffin was blasted for the same thing. Macca and McGuire could do no wrong. Every other forward was walking on eggs shells. Of course Hunt was his golden boy but poor Bud Sullivan was dropped after...... I don't know what. He seemed to be going ok to me.

. Looking like it's going to be long for all of us. Only thing that is certain, if Eisenhuth and Kyle are in first grade on a regular basis, we won't have to worry about next spring

Absolute madness, I can’t believe I’m seeing these takes after not signing a couple blokes.
If we signed a few of these guys on massive overs (which it would take to get them to the club) we might have 2-3 years of short term success and then we’ll be even worse off with our cap in shambles.
Yes it sucks to not make finals for so long but don’t take it out on Flanagan, being based in Wollongong is a big disadvantage when trying to sign players.
Give it 12 months and see how the team goes because I guarantee we’ll be better on both sides of the ball in 2025

You need Experienced players in the squad to set standards especially with the very talented group of players coming through at the moment.
Their are a heap of forwards who are 12-18 months off first grade and we’ll reap the rewards of staying patient with them soon

I'm not talking about who wasn't signed. I'm pretty happy with the new recruits for next year so far. I just can't get my head around re-signing Eisenhuth. If he is re-signed. What possible reason for it? He's actually ok. Not the worst second-rower or lock. But last season he kept at least 3 better much better players out of first grade for a large part of the year. (or the whole year for Egan) Next year if he is re-signed, it'll be another 3 or 4 out of the top 30. Selling out the future in order to give his mate a contract now. That's the way I see it.

It’s great to see that some believe our biggest concern is the status of ole Tommy Eisenhuth. Great sign that we’re in a good position if that’s what people are fuming at. In my opinion, he had a solid year and did exactly what I expected if not better than I thought when we signed him. Some of you must have unbelievably unrealistic expectations.

We do however have to move atleast 1 player on to fit Tom, and 2 if Lawson is Top30... tbf neither are 100% confirmed as Top30 yet... but I think both will eventually get there, even if its not by Round 1.
The last 3 official Top30 spots though.. just have to be half, prop and some sort of utility who can cover halves if we cop an injury... all 3 spots r very important.

I thought he was ok for most of the year. Not better or worse than expected. But look at this list again:
Eisenhuth is turning 33 during next season. How many "just ok" old forwards are among this list? What possible reason could there be for one more if not helping out an old mate at the expense of the club? I can't and won't cop that at all.
Young players just never ready at the Dragons these days. If Egan still isn't ready, even though he played every NSW Cup game last year and just got better and better according to reports I read, have to rely on blokes with a contract already like RFM and Mike Molo.
I think Egan is definitely ready. Pretty confident about Stewart and Tonga. Latu, Nick T and Halangahu maybe. I think those 3 only played a handful of NSW Cup last year. So you can see I'm stunned Eisenhuth is even under consideration to be re-signed. Unless at least 2 of Molo's, Lawrie, RFM, Fifita are being lined up to move on, then it's just Flanno and jobs for his mates. That the way I see it and I can't cop it. No way in the world Bellamy, Cleary or Bennett would be that unprofessional. Hasler and hell, even Benji wouldn't stand for his long-time friend Nofuluma turning up to pre-season training fat.
