Was just listening.. did sound like he was rly happy with Sloans offseason, but I am also conscious of what Justamug mentioned.. that he has trouble keeping the weight on once the training kicks in.. but it can only get easier as you get older as any of us could attest.
Flanno mentioned Lawson will take the #29th Top30 position when he comes back from rugby mid december.. so that means that final spot #30 is still very much TBD if someone comes up.. so it could be an alpha prop but it could be something else..

My theory is that he will only be Top30 if/when we move someone else on.. so in the meantime hes either going to end up a T&T or a Dev.. or maybe Flanno is confident the spot will be there by Round 1... it'll be a january thing though.
Its obviously an unusual situation..
Thats a lot more then hes had previous im sure he'll keep a fair bit of it, the main thing is how happy he seems to be working with Gutho instead of kicking stones. Hopefully a big boy falls into place as the 30th in the, was some good positive chat in that interview.

I love how often we get to hear from Flanno, I always pick up something new.. its something I hated under Hook, I never had any idea what was happening in the club.. if we were trying to sign players.. it was just radio silence.

Just a Mug Fan posted of juniors on train and trail just a few days ago. So many promising young forwards. Nothing against Tom E but we have much better prospects.

SEN asked fans to send Questions for that interview and they genuinely didn’t ask a single one of them ffs. Absolutely hopeless.
Hopefully they get him back on before the season starts and ask him some questions that he hasn’t been asked a million times about Hunt and Lomax Leaving

That's not the reason for my question, whether i want him in or not, there has been alot of talk about whether he is in or not in the top 30 and how many spots we have left, im just trying to figure it out like everybody else..Do you want him in the top 30? I looked at the list

Sure. I was just wondering what you are feeling in regard to his possible re-signing. I have nothing against him personally. Seems like a reasonable player. Did let us down badly in the Bulldogs game but everyone is allowed a bad game from time to time. I'm just confident about all the young forwards coming through so can't be in favour of Tom E getting another year.

I think TommyE has a lot to offer off the field, professionalism, work ethic, he has had a few years in the Melbourne Storm system, he does a job, he really shouldn't be playing more than half a dozen first grade games next year, if he is that would mean we have too many injuries or players not performing.
I know we have a lot of good forwards coming through but who would you give that spot to? I can't think of any off the top of my head we could bring in, i think we have enough young forwards already in the Top30, if you told me that we could sign another external experienced middle, no issue.

We need him to fire. A backline starting to get a bit of speed. I can't fathom what Griffin was thinking putting together a backline as slow as the one he did.

I guess Flanno has decided he's happy with the progress of LKT and Latu and with JDB and the Couchmans then Molo, Sele and Lawrie, he's decided he doesn't really need any more props.

I agree, although I actually think 1,2 or maybe even 3 players will be moved on when possible.. so we will get more room for a couple of positions.
I suspect Ravalawa not leaving has really messed us up, I think that was meant to be Lawsons spot.
