You can see Sloan is carry some mass, like all pre seasons he will drop weight maybe 3 or 4 kg. He should play at under 90kg so can't see it affecting his pace.

This quote from Kyle is excatly what I was talking about.

Somewhere around 90kgs is a good weight, I’m a bit heavier than that at the moment. So I’ll cut it back and get moving towards that before the season.’’

What about the Ra Ra guy Lawson in or out ........

TheRev

SGI Jersey Flegg
They have to be clearing a spot for Lawon, he was supposed to be #29, but TomE is in that list.. who theyve basically just flipped them the opposite way to how I thought they would add them.. they could just give Lawson #30 for now, but they need 1 spot cleared to keep chasing props.

So Tom E is confirmed as being in the top 30?

I see he has. Well, Flanno is past it as an NRL coach. That's all I have to say. Who is next in line? Brad Arthur or another rookie coach? I see he has BMM in there as well. While he is at it, why not drag Bull Bailey out of retirement? Though Ackers and Nick are good additions. LKT should be in the top 30.

It'll be fine.. we also have a free dev spot if we need to keep him temporarily while we shunt off another player... were keen, Lawson is keen.. we just need to have a spot free for that big middle we are chasing.

Talk about an overreaction, every club has below average players in their top 30. Eisenhuth won’t be playing on past 2025 either, he’s just a body so we don’t have to throw 18 and 19 year old forwards in to play every week which would be incredibly stupid and bad for their development.

Cool it with the Flanno out takes, he’s the best coach we’ve had since Bennett by a long way.

How do you decide that? I think he's the best since then as well but it's arguable. Griffins's first year was better and he was taking over from Mary's mess just as much as Flanno took over from Gurffins mess.

Clearly leaving the spot open for a club in salary cap trouble or for a player falling out with the coach as happens every year was the much better option. Flanno is just rewarding his mate. Rewarding is the wrong word. Tom E did nothing to justify an extension on the field. Reward him for being a mate I guess. Or just wait and promote on of the better Flegg players to NSW Cup for the last several weeks of the season.

In my humble opinion we are carrying a few reserve grade players in that top 29 that are taking up some salary cap unnecessarily and we still lack that big bodied prop. I'm sure the coach will have the appropriate game plans in an effort to negate our lack of size . Good to see our young rising stars being acknowledged and retained

Time for a second look at Griffins record. I hated him but now Flanno is doing the same thing I hayed him for. Ultra conservative, not giving young players a go, recruiting every reject from other clubs he could get his hands on.

A bit harsh on the coach. In my day it would have been wonderful to get every player that you wanted on your roster but it didn't happen back then and still doesn't happen to this day. On most occasions you have to work with the hand you have been dealt with.

Why does BMM have a supplementary list spot? Not more than 1 or 2 of them are likely to see first grade. Why not give it to Halangahu instead? I really don't understand it.

I would say that a few clubs wished they had a premiership winning coach in the box. Let's see how he goes next season. I'm interested to see how much the 4 x wooden spooners improve next season. I don't rate their coach but they have recruited well.
