I read somewhere it was about 600k a year. Probably 1.3 for 2 years. It's ok but I just hope there is enough money in the cap to extend Latu.

I'd be surprised if any player coming off contract this season will be extended unless they have a flying start to the 1st half of the competition

de Belin wasn't signed for this year until well into last season. There are a lot off contract. Some will be re-signed even if only depth players.

Has the Sharks made any counter offers or decided no room for him after signing Fonua-Blake. We need a big bopper with mongrel and some skill, everything Molo was not, yet we wasted 600k for him. I say offer 550k and seal the deal asap instead of usual pussy footing.

I hope so but it will depend on his form. At his age there is the possibility his form will drop off a cliff. I don't believe it will but there is the possibility. I think he's the kind who will call it himself if he feels his form is no longer good enough.

They shouldn't budge. I bet the offer is more than he's getting anywhere else. And he's not a marqee signing. With the Couchmans and LPT. JDB to play on one more year. Sele and Blocka on the books for one more year after this one. It would of been nice to get a good prop for this year but from next year, I don't see what the fuss is about. I think we have a formidable front row rotation.
