Recruitment and Retention for 2025

JAC will have to fess that he took it ! Then it is up to Gus after he said, if it happened here he would sack them. Personally I think fine him make him do rehab and move on. Couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of grubs !
He should be made to give lectures to the children who have been influenced by his actions

It's everyone's problem when they jump in their cars with the stuff in their systems.
As for driving and cocaine, not an issue. Probably makes a user drive better. But it's definitely more than just a problem for the user. I just didn't want to get into a long philosophical rant. It's a problem from the top of organised crime organisations all the way through to addicted, homeless users.

Well I'll share a story with you. Many moons ago, in the 80s in Sydney we received a call to attend a 2 vehicle traffic accident, rear ender persons trapped. Upon arrival unit 1 was a Mercedes Benz unit 2 was a vw sedan. The Mercedes rear ended the vw at high speed. The two young children in the rear seat of the vw we found deceased. We arrested the high profile driver. Blood tests would later reveal in court he had cocaine and alcohol in his system. So this curious view that you have about driving and cocaine not being an issue is in my view abhorrent. Just my views based on my own personal experience.

I'm not an expert but it is a stimulant. Among other things it is supposed to improve reflexes.

It kills people, and innocent people as well, in this case 2 children under 5. I still remember that accident to this very day happened in 1987 and it haunts me. Don't forget nobody gets pure cocaine there are many cutting agents.

That's a horrific incident, hope you're doing okay. When I was listening to the Joel & Fletch run home on SEN, they had a journo who followed the drug trade from the source (I think Ecuador or Colombia) to here. He said they never ship our pure cocaine, it's always cut at the source then it's cut multiple times before it gets into the drug sellers hands in Aus.

It has things like washing powder detergent, concrete elements, other chemicals etc. It's a vile vile substance that should incur heavier punishment for anyone caught with it. I'm not advocating doing drugs but something like Marijuana is surely safer.

Anyway I think the Dogs will boot him & another Syd club will pick him up on the cheap. His family is in Sydney, so I can't imagine him going interstate. Roosters? Tigers? Eels?

It's not just the fact he's done it but has been caught, befuddled what actually happened & took the focus away from their first final in years.

Cocaine sold on Australia’s streets is being cut with a substance used to kill worms in cattle and chickens and a banned pain reliever, just to name a few

Yep and if they weren't playing an elite sport like NRL half of them would be in the slammer ........

I don't mind one way or the other but just thinking, this would be a good topic for here: https://sgiforum.com/forums/general-discussion.16/

Just to remind people it exists.

Atkinson is better than Campbell, Campbell is not a game manager, the other is
Even Bullgrubs halfback, plucked from Gold Coast reserve grade, does ok. He's not going to break 1/10th the number of tackles of Hunt or kick any 40/20s but with a good centre or two, fast wingers and a fullback who isn't scared and LKT at 5/8, a good halfback wouldn't need to break tackles. That wouldn't he his job.

Reckon Campbell would move? I thought he was committed to staying in QLD like Trai Fuller. I'd love Campbell at the Dragons, he's slight but actually throws his body around.
No. Reckon Gold Coast would let go of Brimson and Kini before Campbell.

Should be a few available but a lot would depend on the 19 or 20 year-old shoulders of LKT.

Wow, that was very good. Surprised he gave soo much info, basically next year is cook starting & liddle from the bench. It has the potential to be an elite combo.
If you actually look at the SOO blueprint that Queensland used so successfully against us up until this season you will see they always ran with 2 hookers. Hunt was never considered a play maker by them.
