Or rather he got the wrong end of the stick, regardless a dummy spit is not a good look for our club when we are trying to recruit good players. Why it was released to the media also astounds me.

Don't watch much of them. This year I think I only watched part of their games vs Dragons. But I thought Hazelton was overrated personally. Though I'm biased against all their players so there is that as well.
Re Hunt if he's available to be traded to the titans or Broncos, what's realistically possible? Hunt has 1 year left, so not much bargaining power to us. Either team would need to shed players to accommodate him.
Who could re realistically get? Kini? Reynolds? Jayden Campbell?
Imo it'll be too complicated unless a half in return is included.

Would need someone to play halfback. Simple as that. GC had one halfback. I remember I watched them and he seemed ok. Wasn't Boyd who is crap but another young one. Though I think they also have a halfback problem so it would require some kind of 3 way trade.
Jayden campbell? They've got Foran/Campbell/Boyd/Brimson/Weaver as halves.
TBH I'd take Kini for fb, transition Sloan to 5/8th & let Kyle game manage until we get a proper halfback. We've also got Cook coming in who will help with game management, I don't know if he has a kicking game. Maybe a short kicking game?
A trade for Kini & Weaver or Boyd then hope one of them kicks on like former titans halves (fogarty & sexton). Or a Jayden Campbell but yea, it'll be tricky because we need list spots too.

I like that as well. Though how bad would the defence of those 2 halves be?
Kyle is a good defender, much better than Hunt imo. I don't think Sloan's defence would be any different to Hunt's. Who knows in this team though, overall our defence sucked. Is that personnel, coaching, defensive style? Who knows...
