Tannah Boyd = reserve grade 5/8
Tom Duffy = who?
Lachlan Illias = decent 5/8
Jonah Pezet = reserve grade 5/8
Brad Schneider = reserve grade 5/8
Toby Sexton = not bad but has gotten found out over the last few weeks and will be again this weekend
Sam Walker = overrated and it will take huge money to lure him away from Roosters or prevent him going to the Broncos

If Flanno isn't happy with Dragons juniors the club needs to look at which clubs have long term halfbacks who aren't going anywhere.
Penrith, Dolphins, Tigers, Roosters (if they retain Walker), Cronulla, Souths (have that English halfback arriving)

Ashton Ward was Jersey Flegg player of the year and was promoted to NSW Cup late in the year. Maybe the solution is right under Flanno's nose.

The players off contract and not mentioned as leaving have no new contract with the club ATM.
A lot of meetings going on Glover and his manager meet with Dragons tomorrow.

The issues with Fifita are a lack of tank & he doesn't power through the contact. He'll run it hard then just stop or waddle once contact is made, he needs to keep up his leg drive. He can have a 15-20min cameo like a leniu or bmm if he could power through contact. I don't think he'll make it at the Dragons or another club unless he develops that skillset.

Compared to our younger forwards who all pretty much keep their leg drive through contact, obviously will be harder to do in NSW Cup & 1st grade but I'd love to see it.

are we talking about Viliami Fifita? His carries when fresh are epic.. he's carting blokes on his back and making huge PCM.. commentators losing their minds... the issue is he can only do it a few times before his hands are on hips, he has no energy for defence, giving away penalties.. and his carries dry up.. the quality is 9/10, its the quantity that would need to be much higher to be considered for 1st grade.

Now if we didnt have about 8 other young props coming through, im sure we might persist with him a little longer, punish him for a few pre-seasons to get his fitness up.. but we need his spot back to balance up this first grade squad.. and he will be easy to sell.

I'm actually nervous we wont spend our money again next year as it stands, we would have had 800-850 ready for RCG... unless we give it to DSaf instead, but we have enough for a couple of genuine first graders still... we have to work so damn hard to get these deals done though.

Flanno was under the impression RCG was a done deal but this his manager came back and said it wasn't. Flanno was furious and hung up the phone.

Good for Flanno. He/his manager was taking the piss out of the Dragons. So looks like a middle rotation of Frank Molo, JDB, LPT and Couchmans. One more big prop like RCG would be useful but can't have him take the piss out of the club.

But where will RCG land ? There is a hint he is a bit past his best. Maybe the Rorters ? If they want him, they have a fair bit of cap space. Or the Grubbies, but he would have to take a pay cut, unless they sack JAC, which looks on the cards.

2GB 3pm news. Hunt has played his last game with the Dragons and has moved to the Tits for 2025. Tits I presume are the Titans. Is there a swap deal happening?

Been saying the same all year. If true Hunt has played his last game then Ward may be at the very least on stand by for the half spot come season start.
