I think with DA there now it will be a totally different story in how we go about things. You might hear rumors, whispers etc, but nothing is on the table until its done. That was his way at the Roosters. Keeps us in the dark but it also protects the club from a lot of crap IE Volkman

I like this separation of responsibilities with DA tasked with building the roster and Coach Flanno concentrating on preparing the team. Naturally I hope both will be successful, but if one performs well and the other fails, it will be much easier to make the necessary adjustment.

Atkinson is Flanagans boy. But one thing bothers me who is stepping into the play makers boots. Footage of Atkinson dont exactly scream I am a star organiser, while I fear Lycan is too raw to take the reins and manage a side.

Exactly. Didnt Atkinsion play 5/8 for the Shonkies, so likely our coach will want him there which leaves an underdone, career wise, Lycan at a loose end. Dead set this club keep shooting themselves in the foot. Where is the half we were looking at to replace Ilias when he was dropped. I can see K F being retained as our prime play maker, God forbid, unless Kade is promoted with Lycan prob returning to Ressies to partner Ilias.

Did we want him? To play in what position? Gutho seems to cop a lot of criticism for his lack of speed but I honestly think his game would be really good if we didn't have such a slow backline. Get some speed on the flanks with Holmes centre and I think Gutho's game will suit the team really well.

Yep. Daine Laurie puts in plenty of effort on game days. Not sure where he would play if Gutho stays at fullback and we are likely to have Sami on one wing and CT on the other. Centres are Holmes and Suli. Anyway, not a problem now as he will be at the Raiders - again though, in what position?

Agree Dave but it makes you wonder where his best prospects were in playing 1st grade and why he chose the raiders. And as Ryan said , were we even after him, probably not.
